To be honest, Zero should OBVIOUSLY be on point. There is no question about it…Zero Doom Akuma should be cool.
I just don’t know about doom/akuma, if you know better than I do then knock yourself out but doom seems a little slow to convert off akuma. But no doubt, zero on point, there’s no reason not to run him on point.
If you’re on point with your dashes you should be able to confirm most of the time, there are better assists though.
Has anyone ever tried using Doom molecular shield assist as a way to cover characters against Morridoom missiles and such? It seems silly to use missiles against another doom with missiles when they have Morrigan.
Say something like Cap/Doom as a means to get past a lot of her BS or a teleporting character with Doom Molecular shield assist?
i’m running doom/dante/x at the moment. any 3rd/anchor suggestions besides sent and strider?
Vergil is a pretty standard option. I’d also suggest frank because Doom/Dante is an incredible shell for him. Aside from that, Doctor strange, Magneto or Amaterasu could work but I don’t know what Dante can do with Cold star

“doom may cry” would definitely work, but i just dont enjoy playing vergil.
so i will hit the lab with magneto and just give it a shot.
Iron Man and Hawkeye have stellar assists for Doom and Dante if that’s what you’re looking for, give them a try together with Magneto.
If you’re flexible on the order. I’m messing around with Dante(JS)/Doom(Beam)/X23(OTG/CS) or X23/Doom/Dante depending on the MU (looking pretty promising atm.) One TAC > 3 dead characters + unblockable resets/incoming setups if you’re playing point Dante with the LogTG. Check out DapVip’s matches for the IM beam variant (Dante/X23/IM) if you want an idea of how the team flows (with the disclaimer that he doesn’t play for the double dirt nap setup.) Still a strong setup and Dante gets away with a whole lot with those assists.
Dante/IM(Beam)/Doom(Missiles) would work in just about any order as well and I could see IM being a pretty decent annoyance with those 2 assists, also.

What are some things i can do with Doom backed by vajra? So far all i’ve really got is the double H plasma beam bnb ender in the corner, vajra + H foot dive on incoming, and calling vajra when the opponent is at sj height and tri dashing like made to switch sides or not. I’ve seen people use vajra to get double sphere flames in the corner but i can’t figure it out. General tips for effectively using the doom/strider shell?
It definitely seems that way, most doom players seem to switch to rocks vs logan. I guess the fact that it hits on both sides and is fast(not sure about this) makes it help in the match-up.
Hello Doom boards! I really like Amaterasu and Dante, but they don’t work super well together…I’ve played both Doom/Dante and Doom/Ammy and was thinking about running Doom on point? What would the optimal order for those three characters be? I was thinking Doom/Dante/Ammy for the Doom/Dante thc extension. Any other thoughts on this? Also, if Doom bites it, should I try to get the order to be Ammy/Dante or keep it Dante/Ammy? Thanks guys!
Interesting team, I actually don’t think that’s a bad team at all, at the very least it isn’t a bad team for doom. I think the optimal order would probably be doom/dante/ammy, because you’ll be running dante with jam session(since weasel shot and cold star share similar properties) and ammy + jam session just doesn’t sound like fun what with all the damage scaling. So yea, doom/dante/ammy seems to be the best order, I think x-ray used to play that except with magneto instead of doom(or was it magneto instead of dante, not too sure).
Soo one thing that I took notice to with the doom sent pairing is that it tends to lose to rushdown. So as a result of that i looked into some way to counter it and Rocks+Drones is really good to stop hardcore rushdown especially vs the hulk match-up it soo helpful.Also depending on the spacing they can give you hitconfirms off the drones. L is for upclose M midscreen/semi close H full screen hit confirms. The only problem with this is characters like wolvy can dive kick and hit doom out the rocks. I haven’t looked at how helpful it is vs the teleport + Beam match-ups but ill definitely look into it
Another thing I do relatively often is call drones + finger lasers(the hyper and the special). In the case of the hyper, if it hits you can get a full combo off it.

Magnus Vergil Doom or Magnus Doom Vergil?? Missiles or Beam assist??
along the lines of the doom w/ cold star chatter above, I was wondering if he might have some good overhead option I’m unaware of beyond an asap j adf M. I know he technically HAS a tridash jL like mag, but it seems a bit slow. Anyway, I still do ok w/ these mixups, but I often fear that eventually the adf M will get easier and easier to react to.
The jM ‘ioh’ I’ve seen in vids doesn’t hit crouchers, right? Aside huge bodies? Be nice if it could, but doesn’t seem like much of an ioh at all.
