I saw Arthur’s sun shield (or maybe its moon, didn’t look clearly, I really didn’t catch the insignia on it) in the 1st she-hulk vs. zero vid on the GnG stage. Around 1:30 she-hulk bounces off it and it staggered a bit. It might be a defensive special just to catch a breather when you get rushed down. Or I’m guessing it might be she-hulk getting staggered if she does a run and runs into a block without doing anything (sort of like those wrestling games if you run into each other, you get staggered). Though that would be dumb on she-hulk’s part, so I’m hoping it’s a special.
It would be pretty awesome if they had Arthur running in the background if he wasn’t picked by either player.
So i guess he has an OTG assist aswell. He uses it on Cap in the first zero gameplay vid.
I’m little disappointed that he doesn’t turn into a pile of bones when he gets KO’d. Would a have a sweet little piece of fan service
I feel the same, then i watched that full match just for the G&G Stage and i shed a tear, it’s some oldschool fangasm
Seriously, has things from all of the main games. NES, SNES, Genesis, and PSP all have things from their respective games in that stage.
That actually looked to me more like Zero’s charge shot OTGing and then the Arthur assist connecting, but I might have not seen it correctly.
That’d be gangsta.
So easily the best stage so far.
Yeah, like the Strider and Megaman KO fades in MVC2.
It pretty cool you can hear the GnG stage music for 1 second
I can imagine Arthur going in the background when he’s not being used in any team playing (just like Tronn in the Legends stage)

at 1:20 you can clearly see the Ghost Ships from Super Ghosts and Goblins in the background, and Loki’s castle even farther beyond that. And at 1:30, She-Hulks super breaks open a chest revealing an Armor pickup.
Gaaaah theres so much shit in Arthurs stage its amazing. And Arthur himself looks not to shabby, those torches seem like they’ll be pretty useful (a nice change for them…)

I really don’t see an effective way of entering Arthur’s keepaway if used well.
We must check if tagging in and out with Gold Armor affects the timer of it.
It’ll stop the timer and you’ll be left without armor this happens with Spiral’s, Rouge’s,and Col’s modifiers in mvc2 if you tag out you’ll lose your power up normally.
Edit: And Juggz in xmvsf lost his power up if he tagged out. The only reason I didn’t mention it in mvc2 cause of the glitch.
Edit 2: Wolverine (all of the marvel games with tag) lost his modifier if he tagged out.
PS: These edits are gonna keep coming until I cover/remember all the characters that have modifiers as part of their movelist. Bottom line is Arthur is gonna lose the armor if he tags out or if he can tag out with the golden armor.
Yeah well this isn’t MvC2 dude, we dunno if they kept it the same or not. =/ (And considering everyone else keeps theirs in MvC3…)
Dormammu keeps his power ups if he tags out, and can use the charge from em in his assists.
Wolverine does not in mvc3
And when Viewtiful Joe does his Slow Down super, when that character tags out the slow down timer doesn’t go down until they’re tagged back in.
Same goes for Ammy’s mist hyper’s slow down effects.
Are you sure about that? Ammy’s mist is an area effect, meaning it effects the stage rather than a character. If you tag out during mist, the guy tagging in is slowed down too until mist goes away.
I thought it effected the point character? Oh, hang on, I’m thinking of Joe’s slow hyper aren’t I? I knew there was a slow hyper that effected character.
