Arthur is so damn fun.
That’s hilarious. It’s like mapping every attack for Ryu so that it does a Hadoken. Awesome.
Arthur also has his anti projectile shield you missing in your cmd’s, he just squats down and his shield eats a couple projectiles. I can’t remember exactly but if i heard right its, srk + lp - one slash, srk +mp - 2 big slashes, srk + fp - shield. Prolly wrong on buttons though
Hm, I only tried the srk motions once and nothing happened, but maybe you’re right.
are any of arthurs normals, projectiles (like cables fierce punch machine gun or megamans fierce punch fireball)?
and if not do any of them have range or is arthur forced to use specials for his long range zoning game?

His normals are slooow, and not fireballs.

Bearing in mind, Arthur’s projectiles appear to change while he is in Golden Armour.
Ummm. not to be a grammar nazi but my RPG fanboy is yelling. Sythe is spelled scythe, if you talking about the oversized sickle.
The “boomerang” is indeed a scythe, but iirc the “torch” assist is actually called fire bottle, even though it was definitely a torch in gng.

It’s a torch in MvC3 too, not sure why they’re calling it fire bottle.
Seems to do pretty good damage and have massive screen coverage. Need to experiment more with its mechanics though.
Anyone else notice how Arthur pulls his visor down when he blocks? Nice touch. Also, for those who’ve used him, when is it good to use the lance instead of daggers? Seems redundant.
The daggers do multi hit low hitstun good damage due to the ability tap where his lance has a knockback effect added onto it. Only difference. Opponent too close for your lacking and nail them with the lance.
Makes sense, thanks. Anyone know what attack turns into the homing sword with golden armor? I thought I saw it used in normal armor also, but I’m not sure. Maybe it was removed?
Homing sword?
The only homing attacks he has is the Gold Armor crossbow.
