With a bit of lag causing the funkyass rollback timewarp shit, it seems to be much harder to do solid hit confirms. I would imagine that severely hampers Chun’s many options into super which is one of her strongest weapons. Other than super she doesn’t have many easily abusable high damage opportunities. Parries being less reliable coupled with the fact she lacks strong anti air would make it easier to jump in too.
Hmmm, 12 eh? Well when he gets his air dash rushdown mixup going in close it can be very hard to react to since it moves pretty fast and not everything is displayed unless you have full connection.
Not sure about elena but Gouki is easily abusable as fuck on 3sOE. I see meaty cr.mk into his bnb magically appear out of nowhere all the time. Even when a lk tatsu whiffs it can be a free mixup for the idiot that relies on that kind of online tactic. Not to mention how abusable hk tatsu is. I imagine demon is harder to escape due to frame skip as well.

Lag Elena is so broken. If you know what you’re doing next before you do something with Lag Elena you’re playing her wrong. You have to never know what you want to do next at all times.
Oh and I finally got this game on XBL for the first time today and finding people in ranked is nearly as easy as the patched PSN version. I was always finding matches pretty quick. Not only that but XBL is obviously just better for this game online than PSN period. I’ma post a vid up soon showing the difference in experience online overall.

Yes, he knows the Q matchup. Yes, I used to play him. We’ve played several matches (and caught up and eventually beat me) but my point was that I had a MUCH EASIER TIME playing due to her super duper safe pokes and damaging yet easy hitconfirms. Some of you guys are like oversensitive anti-racists, you get hot way too quickly & throw out the scrub card all around the place.

Hey look another guy reaching the “Hey Chun’s kind of a bitch” wall. Absolutely nothing wrong with complaining about the matchmaking since it’s fucked up when it really, REALLY shouldn’t be, but not something that’s been established for this long, even if you aren’t intimately familiar with the game before now.
I hate to be a dick but at this point you prolly should’ve had some idea of what you were gonna get coming into this ten year old game and using a character that loses pretty hard to the top tier. Also despite what you think, super basic “I can hitconfirm c.MK” Chun doesn’t cut it against good 3s players. At the very least not until they have solid proactive defense, master kara-throw ranges for s.MK + cl.HK, know their main post-super setups, and can intuitively know when to use all their best footsie/AA options.
Before that level, characters like her and Ken just beat other characters by having more solid/damaging basics, and at that point Yang is arguably just as strong for having high meterless damage and easy as shit offense. I’m not saying Chun is GG level hard, but the better people are, the less she can get away with being braindead.
I’m excited, I cant wait to see what this guy has to say when he plays an actual Chun-Li player that knows what they’re doing.
You mean me? Or RyuReiatsu? Yeah I’ve played some good Chuns, overall I would say Oro, Chun, and Urien give me the toughest time. I’ve stated how much of a thundercunt Chun is a bit earlier in the thread.
There really isn’t many good Chun players outside of Japan. Having said that, go play ryan, he’s good.

Personally from someone who did not play the arcade much and just got started playing 3s I’m glad its on the new systems otherwise I don’t think I would get the opportunity to really play this game. Oh wait I almost forgot it’s really because I’m white obviously.
