You don't get a win from ragequitters?!

If they do implement some sort of quitting punishment it should be after 5 seconds or so so you can quit before that risk free if your opponent is wifi or rollback teleport city, fuck that I’m not fighting someone teleporting around.

My brother was playing against a Nash player last night on casuals and the Nash player quits game on the 2nd round before my brother could get the win. My brother was using Karin

I think iron galaxy spoke on this subject before, but it’s actually difficult for a game to correctly tell who ragequit since this is a peer to peer game and it’s on PC.

it’s not difficult to do something like disconnect from everything but capcom’s servers, or lie and tell the server that your opponent was the one who disconnected from the game.

the only feasible solution is to make the game server based instead of p2p, which would make games laggier and put even more load on the gane servers. it is essentially sacrificing game quality just to squash ragequitters.

I feel that players should lose FM for rage quitting. Make them lose valueable grinding.

just implement a flagging system, certain number of disconnects in a 24 hour period flags you and you will be fined fight money

No. Scrub players would abuse that kind of system to be spitful to players better than they are.

I hate when people who rage quit as much as the next, but it really sucks when you have real life to attend to and you take a hit when you actually need to leave and go do something more important. Or when there are legitimate disconnects.

if they are going to implement something to penalize rage quitters, at least have it be something along the lines of activating once you hit a certain disconnection rate or something.

hmmm well, what kind of punishment would stop a spitful scrub anyways?

Should just record a person’s disconnect percentage. If their disconnect percentage goes to something high enough (let’s say 15%), the other player that they get connected to is warned about this and can deny the match. That way if your percentage is high, no one will want to play with you except other scumbags until you get your shit together.

Disconnect percentage is the way to go. Player has higher than 20% disconnect rate, they only get matched against other disconectors until they fix their shit.

Simple. Just deduct ALL their points and winnings. I’m talking EVERYTHING. FM, LP. And make it across the board. D/C’s RQ’s. Everyone pays that price.

IG currently punishes ragequitters in KI ranked league. they quit, you get the points and the win. They get disconnected, whoever’s left gets the points and the win. Don’t see why Capcom can’t do it here, even SNK games from early XBLA days awarded wins to people who got quit on.

Just give the quitter a loss, doesn’t matter the reason.

Im a low level player. Lost a shitload of matches in a row trying to learn as i go keeping my chin up. Then finally i beat someone of a much higher rank and boom! Rage quit! Wtf srsly! Saving grace is i was recording on ps4…

There needs to be a name and shame. Of course we all get salty after a loss we think we should have won. But you just grow a pair and deal with it.

It’s because, clearly their main concern wasn’t about us getting screwed when ragequitters D/C on us. It was about people boosting, so just not giving points at all stop the boosting and doesn’t allow FM/EXP, that’s all they cared about obviously. Us getting screwed by not getting the points when getting ragequit on wasn’t their main concern. It was their precious Store DLC being harder to earn through FM, rather than $$Zenny$$.

I think the punishment should be gradual. Make the quitters lose LP at the beggining. After a few disconnects make them lose FM aswell. And after a certain high disconnection rate, deduct all the points, everything, including FM.

I know being a silver is cool and all, but why constantly quit just to keep it? Rank doesn’t necessarily mean that you are top tier. Just face reality and realize that you’re the cancer to Street Fighter V’s online experience.

There needs to be fix ASAP in regard to this growing rising issue. Capcom should do a time out system like what 343 does with Halo. The more you quit, the longer your time out is. Or even do a perma-title saying “this d-bag rage quits a lot”.

On behalf of PC gamers, such as myself, I am sorry to those who own this game for the PS4 and verse those who emberassing PC gamers who abuse Alt-F4.

People who don’t go to tournies care about online points, and no one else.

Doesn’t matter how big your epeen is when you got to a tourney and get stomped.

I think most people must do it out of spite. I mean, the only other explanation is they actually lie to themselves that their points mean anything.
