Yoshinori Ono is now a corporate officer at Capcom Japan

You say that my reading comprehension is pathetic when you are the one showing poor reading comprehension skills not to mention a totally lack of logic, shithead.

Every game company is bound to the legal terms of the deal between them and the retailers, you can see it on what Mr. X posted and how it varies from region to region, is not because they are honorable or good ethics you dumbfuck, is because is a legal agreement done before making business, no company will start making deal with others before doing a contract with different clauses to cover their respective asses.

If the price pressure is strong they are forced to spend more costs on price protection, which makes them lose money, which btw is the whole point of the current discussion, if the games are not sold by the retailers they still lose money.

Look at what happened to SE with TR (which is funny because they sold like 3.7 million units but still consider the game a failure)

For Christ’s sake, until you step up your reading comprehension game and understand WTF I’m telling you. I’m gonna ignore you…

Umad.

Street Fighter 5 is going to suck

lol If every publisher had some kind of buy back agreement with retail chains, there wouldn’t be so many copies of NBA Jam at my job.

@Keepin’em Honest
Where do you work, the dollar store? LMAO

You better cross the f***g street when you see me! Bitch!

Even worse. I already gave you a clue, the Xbox version of NBA Jam is there.

And when someone asks you if Umad cuz you don’t feel like arguing, the correct response is,

just at action games like DMC and Onimusha…which he should get tons of credit for…as for fighting games: SF4, SF3, MvC3, CFJ(capcom fighting jam), and SFxT …phooey.

you know what else has sold well?
crack and crystal meth…doesn’t mean either one are any good for you or anyone else.

pretty much this.

why do people want more new fighting games from capcom…when we all know they’re gonna suck ass.

he doesn’t program or design games…he just okays bad decisions & ideas from bad programmers & designers, which is just as bad. if not worse.

pl-eaze!
B serious.

It’s interesting to note that while SFIV was in development Ono stated that one of his goals was to minimize turtling in the game. He wanted offense to be stronger because casual players didn’t like turtley games. I wonder what changed between that interview and what was eventually released. Maybe the Dimps team just had too little experience making FGs? Who knows…

Dimps made a lot of fighters before SF4.

In terms of 2D fighters, I wouldn’t really call it a lot, and the ones I know of weren’t that great. Granted, I’ve never played RF2, but the first one just felt so bland…

Also Seth Killian was behind most of SF4 Ono was a glorified PR man. Wiz said he can now say all this since Seth is no longer at Capcom

^ How much of that is actually true? It’s not unusual for media to use older or unrelated pics when writing articles if they don’t have original source material. Was the whole thing about him being in hospital just a lie? Why wouldn’t Capcom respond to that then? And why would he get promoted?

@Keepin’em Honest

Hell? Where else would old unsold games go. lol.

SFxT gave us back SF3, DS4 (if it will exist) gave us back VHunt and VSav, MvC3 gave us back MvC2.

What exactly is the downside to having CvS3 happen again? Since people are worried it will happen.

Massive dissapointment in something a ton of us have been wanting.

And the rerelease of the game everyone’s been wanting in the first place and have every ability to back to and play at a much more frequent level than prior?

I’ll gladly sacrifice the integrity of CvS3 if it means we get CvS2 on a more widescale and playable level.

Niggas can pick up PS2s and I don’t trust Capcom with releasing a port. And I already have people to play CVS2 with, I really doubt a release would do much to help.

Because people gotta go out to buy a dated console to buy one game. Capcom themselves don’t port their older games.
