fun fact: this move will allow us to decide if we want to have 25% health sooner and access all the options that Pandora opens up.
So for example, if I’m at 40% health and I land suicide xx switch, suddenly I control my high health partner but I also have Yoshi in the back with Pandora ready to activate. Or I can decide launch back to Yoshi which presents more risk but gives me instant access to those new AA and punish options.
Owh and About Ssuicide, thanks vulcan, I didn’t even think about the pandora option. If this mechanic is now useful , it will be a great buff to yoshi.
Yes that’s me and I’m not sure if I showed suicide resets in my guide. But I do remember briefly showing it in my “Power of resets” video.

I don’t think the PB will also be 8 frames safer on block. They always mentioned when something changed on hit and block or only one of both. But yeah, would be cool.
Just read change list and cant wait for the patch. There are more buffs then i expected, i was just reading the list like damn Yoshi players are about to be beastin. That low mp is definitely something i wanted to see.
Dunno if anyone mentioned this, but Yoshimitsu is one of the few characters that can hitconfirm into a normal grab for one bar (for example: cl.MP, c.Lp xx s.MK xx EX Poison Breath, Throw), maybe the only one. Which means you can easily remove any gray health the opponent has from a landed light.
EDIT: Wait, you’re right. I was just using the wrong hit confirm. You really need to use s.lp, s.mk and then walk a bit to get the throw.
This actually isn’t bad at all. It’s 290 damage for 1 bar gemless. Which is roughly the equivalent of a Super but with the benefits of a Cross-Art. All of this off a simple hit confirm and for only 1 bar. Pretty nice.
Explain what? Sorry I’m not sure what it is that you don’t understand.
But basically I was using s.mp, s.lp, s.mp xx EX PB but that hit confirm puts Yoshimitsu outside of throw range. Using s.mp, s.lp, s.mk xx EX PB moves him forward, making it possible to combo into throw. And throws now remove red life completely just like Cross-Arts.
So:
j.mk, s.mp, s.lp, s.mk xx EX Poison Breath > Throw = 290 damage + removes red life for 1 meter.
raw Supers usually do around 300 damage. And Cross-Art costs 3 meters. So this combo off a hit confirm = Super damage + Cross-Art benefits for 1 meter.
