Today is going to be a hell of a day for the Capcom scene in Atlanta.
We’d initially planned to close Capcom/Anime Nights for this week due to our time at Combo Breaker last weekend, but a quick revision of plans led us to reschedule it for today instead. One huge factor that played into this decision is the news that we’ll have two special guests from the Evil Geniuses team coming to our arena in mere hours from now.
EG Justin Wong and EG K-Brad will be featured in tonight’s Capcom local, so if you are in the area and would like an opportunity to get some competition from these guys along with the rest of the ATL players, you are NOT gonna want to overlook tonight’s local!
As well, we celebrate the birthday of Yomi Gaming’s CEO, Mr. Giancarlo Moreno, who turns thirty-two years old today! It is through his tireless efforts and astronomical generosity for the FGC that we were blessed with Atlanta’s newest venue, and for over a month now our business has been flourishing. Our sincerest wishes go out to him as we thank him for all his contributions. We hope you will join us in tonight’s celebration!
All details on how to attend tonight’s Capcom/Anime local can be found on the flyer included with this post. For those who cannot access it for any reason, a quick rundown will follow:
We are open all day for casuals should you feel the need to practice up. Sign-ups open at 8:00 P.M. EST with the tournaments set to follow an hour later. The fee is $10 plus another ten bucks per game you would like to enter. If not enough players sign up for a game you entered for, you have the option to receive a refund or defer to another game. If you merely wish to spectate, we charge only five dollars.
The games for our Capcom Monday roster - or in this case, Capcom Wednesday - are as follows:

- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
- Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
- Guilty Gear XrD
