What’s up KoF peoples in SD (Anyone out there?). Me and a couple homies are looking for some more comp in Kof 98 um (decent exp with this), kof 2002 um (lfm experience), 11 (lfm experience), and 12 (been at it since the console release). Weekends perferbably, in the SDSU college area (or i do attend UCSD so i could bring the slim and a game up if you do too) and sometimes out in Santee. We ain’t the best, but we definantly gots some skills and been playing for awhile, trying to improve and find more people who like KoF games etc. If you can’t drive to our location, maybe you got DUI’s like us, we could work something out to get to yours. Let’s get some KoF scene started, once a week at least!?!? :S

We have the KOF98UM Arcade version in Plaza La Cachanilla, we are there a group of 10-20 people playing all the weekend. Also always theres good comp all the week (great variety of characters and just a few Krauser/both Geese/Ex King guys).
Happ joystick/buttons in excellent conditions (super joystick?). 3 pesos (1/4 dollar per game).
We also have 2002 and KOF XI in big screen (and all the others KOF in multigame machine, but everybody is playing 98UM all day!!!).
2 hours away from SD. Or maybe we can go to SD one these days.
Man that sounds cool, and most of my family lives in Calexico and El Centro. Problem is, i have no passport! I didn’t think there’d be a scene that deep up there. I’ll work on getting that and maybe see what’s up during the holidays :cybot:

Southwestern college. Shouldnt be too long until I transfer to SDSU though. I havent played kof in a while because of sf4 but I do have atleast 5 years of exp on 02, if I would play kof again though it would be kof XII… even though I havent touched that in a while either, but 02 is fine.
Right now the only days i got to play KoF is on sunday mornings in SanTee (even though we still get pretty drunk), not sure how that would work for you, and that’s only for 98UM and 2002UM. I have a break coming up after dec 7th maybe where we’ll probably play monday and wednesday nights too.

I will be going to Mexico City from April 09 to 16, and I’ll be back in San Diego to bore myself… Somedays i go to tijuana to play, but there’s only KOF98UM machine i know and none 2002UM so far.
Ayo wassup!!! I’m out here near National City, and I play just about any KOF game… Right now I’ve been on NGBC and KOF98UM on xbl, and I know a few people at Comic Odyssey in National City who either play KOF also or are interested in learning the game… The owner of the shop has a small setup and has room for a few more setups if possible.
