Anyone catch this week’s episode? Best one of the season so far.

The sneezure and man reaction dialogue/scenes was classic Whedon.
The show so far reminds me of how Buffy began. Dollhouse’s engagement of the week and Alpha arc mirrors how S1 BtVS used the monster of the week formula while still focusing on The Master arc overall.
I’ve noticed a lot of directors and writers who worked on Buffy/Angel are on Dollhouse. All that’s left is to bring back David Greenwalt and David Fury (who’s currently working on 24) and we’ve got outselves a pretty good show.
This episode was amazing compared to the rest. Definitely a step up! I also understand that those first 4 episodes were demanded by Fox. Whedon hadn’t originally planned on including anything like them at all. Even Dushku said that the series should get better after the first 4 or 5 episodes in an interview.
I concur. I tend to like round face but she’s grown on me, especially that accent.
Yup. I was wondering how the premise was going to be executed but these epsiodes have surprised me on every front.
My favorite scene the entire season was in the episode with the serial forest hunter. At the meeting with the Boss Lady, when she bent down, ass in the air, he was right behind her adjusting his pants.
Yeah, surprised the hell outta me, I don’t pay too much attention to the show (I download it for my wife.) and catch glimpses from time to time. I did find her to be a bit suspect with the way she act towards Paul…
This week’s show definitely hit the ground running. A LOT happened in the last fifteen minutes. On some shows that would be a bad thing, but the way it kinda turned everything on its head was nice. It sure made me excited to see what else is gonna happen. Hope this show lasts more than just one season.
The table neck snap made me cringe. All I could think about was a certain scene from a certain Ed Norton movie. shudders
I figured neighbor girl would either be a sleeper until they showed the preview with her crying, at which point I thought she’d be a victim. But damn, didn’t suspect the scene to be that dope.
Traitors
[details=Spoiler] I wonder who the traitor is or if it was all the boss lady’s way of throwing old dude off the trail.
I have to suspect Amy Acker’s character or maybe the Asian chick they have floating along the background as an assistant. Still, it could literally be anyone besides on this show.[/details]
Initially, I had no love for all the episodes of Dollhouse I’d seen so far. I’m glad I stuck it out, because last Friday’s episode was top-tier amazingness. Joss Whedon, you have my apology for doubting you.
And holy cow, Ballard/Helo is friggin’ Superman. He gets shot, he’s back on duty soon after. He gets tasered, and is swinging punches 5 seconds later. And he’s almost on equal footing with assassin-personality Echo. I mean. . .jeez. The guy’s ridiculously beast.
Actually I think the Boss Lady herself is merely a pawn in global plan for world domination. She knows the truth and it might be eating at her conscience, which is why she used Echo to send the message.
Her right hand man was probably only informed of the plan to misdirect him into thinking it was just a ploy to make the agent back off, not knowing what information she implanted into Echo.
I’m not too fond of the acting, but plot is what’s keeping me in there. At first I thought the series would go on for only 1 season judging by the pace, but it seems to be able to go into many different possibilities (Ballard going public, Alpha, evil company, etc etc). I also like Amy and I wish she didn’t have so many scars on her cute little face.
Like pretty much everyone else I was pretty disappointed by the first few episodes, but kept watching because I figured it had to get better. Just finished downloading and watching the latest epiode, and holy hell…that was some crazy shit. Very glad I decided to stick with this show.
I think Ballard is my new hero. He should become a ninja or something. :karate:
That fight was pretty fuckin’ vicious. Helo’s a fucking beast on this show. I’m glad I’ve stuck by this show, but I’m surprised it’s moving so fast. I wonder if Whedon’s like “Fuck it, better go balls deep with the plot or we’re gonna get cancelled mid season like Firefly”.
Damn this show’s plot is like a runaway freight train!
Everything is moving so fast!
[details=Spoiler] They revealed portions of their past and we found out how they get their subjects. It is actually quite believable.
I love seeing that prim and proper British woman acting like a complete goofball.:razzy:[/details]

Previews
Spoiler
This show is already at a point that I predicted happening 2 seasons from now (if Fox would make it last that long) It seems that there might be a bigger plot Josh Whedon wants to reach before the show gets canned due to Fox’s gayness.
