Yatagarasu Donjon Game

He’s an sf4 player, 5 frames of delay is their standard

He actually hates SF4 now and has sworn that game off since he discovered there are actual good games out there. @d3v I think he said is was stable, laggy, but playable. As for USA I dont think he had any problems.

As for the clones, simply do some research, they are nothing alike.

The guy didn’t swear off SF4 until he found mild success with KoF13.

Mild success might even be putting it kinda generously. Also, I haven’t even seen him play KoF in the longest. He probably dropped it once he saw how high level play was beyond reach.

Or maybe because the game was kind of ass and no one plays it? But that’s another topic.

Tried jumping online at night a few times and no one is on. The Indiegogo had 3K backers who received their copies and maybe, maybe a handful of people are playing this. And the current netcode isn’t great. It reminds me of SF4 netcode.

Game will be dropped in a month or two. Possibly less depending on how good the SF5 beta is and if dudes figure out a way to permanently download it to their systems.

Kof was better than SF4 imo. Juice probably dropped kof for AoC, he tends to bash SF4 hardcore and swears by whatever current game he is playing.

This game loos decent, but as with most smaller releases it will have a small crowd. Having GGPO might help getting some people into it since it should be good online.

He said he dropped KOF because he had no player at his level to play. Also KOFXIII netcode did not allow for decent matches cross-state. But KOFXIII netcode even at its best did not feel smooth. YAC plays fine without any serious issues. But for netcode I’d wait for GGPO as well before venturing online.

The only reason I didn’t learn Kof 13 was because there is literally no one who plays it here. If SNK used solid netcode I would have been on that game all day and it might have been played more in general.

All I do now is go in do random combos and HD shit then get depressed I never learned it. Lol.

I wish all games had a preload option. The internet where I’m deployed is unstable and inconsistent. 95% of the time it feel like a 90’s AOL disc.

KOF13 PC netcode was good, actually, but by the time the PC port came out, the damage had been done.

As for Y:AoC I’ve been looking forward to it for quite some time, and I know a couple of other local players are as well. With some luck there’ll be a local offline environment for this. =3

It’s serviceable at best. It works, but it’s not enough, especially for a combo heavy game like XIII.

The moment is upon us. Whoop dee doo. This should kill some time til I get home.

If anyone wants to Yata with me, my Steam is runningwildwolf. I could use some training partners that actually play other characters besides Chadha.

I’ve been playing mostly Jyzumaru, Azure and Kotaro. Really wanna learn to play Jet and Hanzo too.

This is gonna make me sad day one getting into this against people who have had the alpha since release.

No clue how netplay is but I have dabbled with the game for a couple of minutes and it feels like a very competent and diverse fighting game.

So far my biggest wishes are that they cleanup the user interface which looks like dick, that they draw the commentators in the artwork of the game, because they look so fucking out of place and that they allow bigger resolutions than 800x600 or whatever the game is using.

The game itself seems great though, too bad it’s so hard to recommend with how bad all the menus look.

Am I the only one who noticed that that layering of the two girls in the background is wrong?

Anyone else who has an Hrap VX-SA Kai(360), and can’t get it to work with this game?
*EDIT, disregard this post my stick is probably fucked up.

Seems like they just gave up on this game. No resolution supports and horrible u.i

Seems like nothing at all changed from beta to final release.

Except for, you know, all that additional content they did. Why do people have such a boner for UI? What does it matter? It works, since when was UI such an important thing for a fighting game?

Kids love training mode and presentation. Making menus look like shit seems to imply a lack of polish to the game.

Yeah, that makes sense!
