I just bought this game and I have some issue with my madcats stick. It s registerieng the up forward direction all the time, so I can t play the game.
anyone knowing or having this issue? it s only during this game as if I play ssf4 with the same computer and stick, here no issue.
that kind of sad because I can t play… please help…
got the bundle, i love the game so far. Having issues to enter ppl’s lobbies. I can play ranked games or if I create a lobby. I checked that the ports are correctly forwarded. Other than that, great game, great experience xD
A few questions: Is this game worth the pricetag on ricedigital(about $10.50usd)? Is the networking good? Is there a lot of people online in the US? And is the game different enough from KoF that I might get into it if I didn’t like KoF much(basically, is it a clone, or a new game)?
There is small group of dedicated players that play occasionally. The game feels more like 3s with some SNK flair to it. The netcode is pretty good if your connection is great, but its very picky with bad internet. The netcode does use input delay, but it was very playable surprisingly.
I don’t think there currently is. The framework for it seems to be there in the Gd.lst file in the game’s root folder at least: “[RESOLUTIONMAG],2,2” is the default value, and the magnification seems to be based on 320x240. Hence this field seems to indicate that the game is to be displayed in 640x480.
The resizing doesn’t seem to be implemented yet though, at least according to the comment next to it. I’ve tried changing the RESOLUTIONMAG values, but that doesn’t seem to work. It’s hard to tell if the Gd.lst file is being used at all, or if there’s a parallel of it for user-customized settings in a hidden folder somewhere.
Yeah, that’s what I was looking at, but the file doesn’t seem to be altered when I change my settings from the launcher, so I think it’s just a default template. There’s also a Personal.set file with [BASEMAG] set to 0.5,0.5, but changing those values does nothing.
Well, let’s hope this is a feature that gets implemented in AoC.
