Can anyone tell me the point of crow? Seems just like kou but kou can do c.HK xx qcfP xx super hit confirm from further out and has a better fireball i think. The only benefit i see is that he can do LK tatsu into sweep so you can go for hard knockdown oki after getting so decent damage in. But you would only get a tatsu confirm if you knew you were going to get it, so pretty much only in hard punish situations.
Crow has a better jump arc, better shoryuken, better damage output to name a few things.
Kou’s Fireball super has a lot of uses but the damage is pretty lacking.
Crow’s Ex Fireball is slow and you can set up some extra pressure with it since you can run past it.
yeah tried that. i also tried using AppLocale but nothing worked. i used a ps3 stick and the joystick worked but now some of the buttons have problems. thanks anyways.
i donated when this first started so i’m already getting a copy of the new version when it comes out. guess i’ll wait until then
Damn you just blew my mind. Kou just seems to be so much better, I main Crow but I’m probably gonna switch to Kou now. The main difference between Kou and Crow is that Crow’s specials pop up at the end and allow you to juggle. However, Crow got the short end of the stick because his hitconfirms whiff at max range. This includes: cr. hk xx super and 3 lk’s (hitconfirm) xx C dp.
Keep trying, I saw that someone on the KusogeKings stream had the same problem as you and fixed it. If you can’t find the fix, you can always get xpadder and just use that.
Also I want to share these links I’ve found.
http://wiki.mizuumi.net/w/Yatagarasu - Has frame data for each character
http://www.orochinagi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Yatagarasu - has combos
I have been sufficiently bothered to make this.

Now for figuring out which versions of attacks are used.
Kou’s Fireball super has a lot of uses but the damage is pretty lacking.
But you build meter so quickly and it’s so safe that you can YOLO it.
But what if you’re fighting Hanzo and just get chun sa2’d back after having it blocked?
trying with xpadder but the game recognizes the madcatz controller by default and gives it priority over keyboard. any idea on how to keep the game from recognizing the controller?
Is there any site that has in-depth system mechanics in english? I noticed you can’t immediately jump again after landing, but you can attack (dunno if it’s instantly). So if you jump and hold up and press a button as you land, it will perform a grounded attack. You can’t throw immediately either. You will get the highest priority attack it was OS’d with.
Still, there is enough leniency to perform fuzzies. For example with Shimo vs Chadha, j.hk, j.hk xx 214 HK is a fuzzy setup. If he tries to crouch block after the first j.hk the second one will hit him standing and combo into the blade.
Several chars have instant fuzzy overheads. Useful for finishing off the opponent.
Try Motioninjoy and emulate a xbox360 controller if you are having stick trouble.
So just got this game because of the bundle sale and i love fighters. I’m having problems joining some lobbies and overall hosting one. As for the game itself it seems to be a nice little diversion. Starting off with hanzo then im gonna try shumo next. (whoever is the blue swordswoman that doesnt charge.)
Forward your ports 50055 - 50057.
ok ill look that stuff up thank you. Also is there some kinda friend system or way we are keeping track of each other?
Remember people’s names. You can view old matches to see who they were.
I heard this was lacking, hopefully someone will benefit from this guide I wrote.

No OEM keys work. No comma, no semicolon, no period, no slashes.
Nothing I can do about that V(’.’)V
Just pointing it out.
Hi, tournament footage from yesterday if anyone’s interested. English commentary. Good Shimo here?
