Hopefully the general ideas are correct - I’ve been aiming for the game-specific things that are more useful for you savvier fighting game players and skipped/skimmed the basic explanations of generic stuff, like tick throws and hit confirms.

Also, your inference about the “omit idol” message being an indicator of reversal/cancel timing may be correct. I’ll update the wiki when I’m not being lazy.

Final verdict on the netcode. It’s not playable. You can learn matchups but the experience is -oddly enough- shockingly similar to GGPO 3S. Moves that are not safe are safe. EX’s that you cannot be thrown out of you can get thrown out of. Meaties on wakeup get beaten by wakeup throws. Empty jump SRK is legit and cannot be thrown out. It has the appearance of being okay but it’s just not good. All I can say is thank fuck they hit the GGPO stretch goal.
And Jyuzu is fucking braindead. Nerf that nigga! Nerf him now! Take away the AA game from his Punch super. Take away the invincibility from his SRK super. Take away that retarded LKx2 Target combo. Give him new specials/supers but his braindead gimmicks need to be taken away. I’d rather fight a Japanese Jet player than that garbage.

Anyways glad goal was met. Now that i bought the game hope I can get it set up to play.
That’s good, Kinda wanted to see the EX characters though. Ah well the amount of stretch goal reached is really impressive considering I thought they’ll not reach their goal in the first place. So far I like the game a lot. Thought it was a complete 3S clone but has enough difference to make it their own. Played dudes from Canada and it works pretty well even though I hear that the netcode is shit tier. Guess those dudes are wrong. Hopefully the game gets infinitely better when the official game is released.
