The game crashed on me.

How do I run this?

(Re)Install Java

90% of the time, you already have Java but your system’s PATH environment variable is not set properly. A reinstall will fix this.

If the game is crashing for you (and assuming it’s the twins that are causing it), get applocale. I haven’t had the game crash yet since using that.

Also, I don’t get Hanzo’s ex grab that much. It doesn’t have to be charged, but she always seems to jump unless I hold down for a moment, so am I just fucking it up or is it just a much shorter charge time?

Hanzo’s EX Grab is just down, up, LP+HP. It beats every grab in the game (Including Chowdah’s 720 Grab). BUT, she can be easily hit out of it as I discovered.

I wonder how they would change up Hanzo? She’s easily the most unique character in the game.

Oh, ex is throw invincible? That’s really nice. My friend has a habit of mashing throw after I do a dive kick so I just started doing either another dive kick or jab jab turn kick.

She can still be hit out of it. She’s very free if it whiffs too.

Had another semi-decent set online. All I can say is thank god this game is getting GGPO! Holy shit is the netcode a pain in the ass. It’s playable but still really derpy. And it’s frozen more than a few times and I updating Java and Shimo still crashes the game.

Realized something: if Shimo jumps in close enough, she can do j.HK (and even LK I think) then Sword Slash it crosses you up. But in order to Red Parry it you have to block the crossup.

What would you guys think of the game being a little more like 3S (I’m bias as fuck for obvious reasons) if it had:

Variable health and stun per character.

Taunts with gameplay effects. I.E. Taunts increase Health, stamina, meter gain, etc.

Variable health could be interesting but it’s not something vital to the game. But I don’t know about you guys but I want to see taunts that boost stats. 3S is so far the only game that did that (not counting AOF which kinda’ sorta’ uses taunts) and I’m not suggesting Chowdah receives Q’s health-boosting taunt or anything but it would make the game a little more interesting and make runaway/zoning less appealing.

Honestly, this game copies a ton of stuff already, I’d rather it try to make some more of it’s own stuff than continue borrowing from other games.

But it’s something that’s only been done once.

forgot to mention there’s a DARK JYUZUMARU available (press up on jyuzu). He gets “better frames” (st.LP, LP, cr.HP/cr.HK/3HK links FOR FREE) but loses spin feints. Special thanks to hiro-san who rolled up in the channel yesterday with juicemaru tips and tricks.

Nope, not according to hiro-san at least.

The game should really increase the hitstun on bl counter for grounded. Its not fair that air bl counter is very dangerous but the ground one isn’t.

Can someone explain to me how an attack becomes a BL counter and what the BL penalty (the blue or orange barcode that appears in your HUD when you BL) is?

I would donate so much cash if they implemented some sort of charge partitioning (Because yata dosn’t have it right?) since I love the aggresive/mobile charger playstyles that you can play in 3s unlike the usual hold downback.
