some of the bad matchups are alleviated by delayed wake up [hawk], or by character nerfs [bison, sagat], so I see the matchups either even or at least not as bad as before
Two questions: #1: Is Yang’s teleport reliable for any kind of left-right mix-ups on their wake-up or resets or is that just gimmicky shit that’s easily beaten with buttons?
#2: What’s my frame advantage on hit and block after a second light medium and heavy rekka after FADC?
I have a question of my own. Are Yun’s and Yang’s divekicks identical frame data-wise? I know the hitboxes are the same but is the start-up, active frames, etc the same?
Also does Yun still have a lower height restriction than Yang, or are they equal?
Is there any reason for why most videos I see of Yang now dash forward after cl.mk instead of jump cancel dive kick?
Did anything change, or is it just a coincidence that I now only see dashing?
I don’t think EX Rollkick can punish Dudley DP FADC or Cammy DP FADC backdash, don’t see how you could OS the punish
FA1 is -2 on block and hit (?), FA2 is +4 on block
Hit boxes are not the same on Yun/Yang’s dive kick (Yun’s are better)
Frame advantage on hit is worse than Yun’s, frame advantage on block is better (Yun forum has a chart…somewhere…)
Both are active until ground and both start up in 7f
The height restriction appears to be the same (edit: actually, after otori mentioned it, went to double check and Yun can do his lower.)
(Obviously) Yang’s dive kick travels slower
Dash forward cst.MK is usually just easier now, but you still have to do the jump cancel, dive kick whiff, cst.MK against characters that dash forward doesn’t work on.
