What was it you said to me earlier? Oh yes, I remember. Let me try it on. A big yaaaaaaaaaaawnnnnnnnnnnn goes out to your predictable post which just said nothing to counter-act what I said.
If you haven’t noticed, you’re the only one supporting the teleport on a wide margin, so I’d have to say that makes you the one living in la-la land. My post is no less theory fighter than yours - if haven’t picked up on this yet either, forum strategy IS theory fighter. Go out and find me a vid anywhere of a Yang repeatedly, reliably, and successfully using the teleport in any situation other than then two specified by Streak or myself and I’ll buy it.
No, I was picking apart your uses as Darkheart thought. As for the theory fighter business, look who’s posting all these amazing useless uses for yang’s teleport! Since you have already bowed out of this argument(rightly so, since nobody was agreeing with you), I would say you have been bowned.
Actually it works on a bunch of people… Necro is the same as Chun li… Alex… I believe you can do it… maybe …
yun/yang… if you time it right you can do 3 hard slashes but not the super combo one… Er… some other people i think. Elena… Humm I think that’s about it.
Oh yeah and Q… you can do the full combo on him but you gotta time it when he falls cause he falls so freaking slow. Not just bam bam like Chun Li. Yeah I think that’s it. Randomly throw the palm in the corner and perhaps you will land it
I just thought of something funky. Yang’s forward dash is a hop right, so it should go over low attacks like Shoto c. forward. Mnnn…that would be cool.
You fail to take into account any sort of reactional delay on the opponent’s part. But even disconsidering this, I think it still has uses such as hoping over max range Shoto trips, which most Shoto players take for granted against Yun/Yang because they really can’t punish from that distance considering the supers most often used in tournaments.
No. Either toward+Forward or UOH is better for that kind of situation. Oh! You can also link UOH to cr.Short, which you can also cancel cr.short to super or EX Slashes!
Both Yun and Yang can punish a blocked shoto sweep at max range, yang with EX mantis slashes, yun with a lunge punch, they don’t need to try to evade it.
I don’t think that’s true. I hate to speak without making sure (actually, I’ve been doing this for years), but there aren’t many specials that can do this (EX or NOT) without almost perfect timing (read: reversal).
Please don’t flame me. Note I was being “nice” and I said I don’t THINK (lol don’t follow up on that one) it’s true. I obviously realize you can punish Shoto sweeps with EX Mantis and Lunge Punch (I’ve known this forever…one of the main reasons I use Yun vs. Shotos sometimes is to punish block strings ending with Hadoken’s…even if the Hadoken hits, jab Lunge Punch still gets em), but I’m not sure you can punish MAX range Shoto sweeps.
They don’t need to evade it, but that doesn’t mean they never should. If you’re on the defensive or turtling or you anticipate the sweep and you have the meter, sure, punish that shit. But if you’re on the offensive, poking or pressuring a shoto down and moving in, f+forward and UOH work wonders, especially against Kens since they love to try and sneak one of their crouching kicks in and link it.
I started playing Yang … THIS WEEK seems to be a nice pick-up-and-play chara.
I have noticed something yesterday >>
After doing the flip grab on Makoto you can do close forward launcher
Seems very useful to me, i have to check if it works on other characters too.
EX Slashes do a lot more stun damage. I do agree with Kingdom though. There’s no point in launching Makoto, or anyone else for that matter, if you have the option of a Slash combo.
if u do commang brab, mk, super… u wont get alot fo damage out of it, coz if im correct a special is -25% on all the rest that hits combos dunno sure bout the mk… like 12%?
