No, but I figured I’d randomly try to get it running on Windows 8 and it does.
Running it on non-garbage (read: graphics accelerated) hardware resolved all the transparency errors I was seeing. I think I might actually finally start playing this online with you guys.

Is it possible to play local versus mode? I saw in setting 4ª tab inactive, Would and to configure the second joystick?
Not sure about windows 8 stuff, but there is no local multiplayer.

Getting back to discussion of the game itself, I’m not sure if the lag was to blame but I contend Wy Xie’s unblockable rocket kick is OP.
My internet isn’t good enough to always get decent connections with the Chinese players. Only found one playable connection so far. Oh well.
All the good Chinese connections I’ve got have been really bad players, unfortunately.
Also I can’t seem to get a good connection to Brazil for some reason.
I’ve noticed that I can play without any lag in Core server, but not in XD server… Maybe the ping have to do with the what server do you play.

What game modes help me unlock characters? Practice certainly can’t be one of them.
Arcade and Ranked mode will earn you EXP.
Arcade mode is the thing that looks like a “C” with a bunch of blades around it on the home screen. Ranked mode is a different tab altogether.
All of them, only practice doesn’t give you XP
