We have access to the most recent akatsuki? I havent seen bbb anywhere and nope, I am in the good old usa. I just pray for console ports like most of us do lol
No one plays the most recent version of Akatsuki because it’s ass and if you look around you can find BBB easily.
Hope the rumors that the next “possible” KOF would be going for this kind of look in their next outing. It’s the next best thing you can get… and they’re all going to be originals too if ye get what I mean.
Well, this is created with the Chinese audience in mind. And Chinese are PC junkies, everyone has a computer at home and their connections speeds are way better than us. So, game being only playable in PC is not a problem at all for them.
Whatever, I read the arcade market in Asia is still kind of solid, so maybe there’s a chance for an arcade port (SNKP collaborating here could be a good idea). But Tencent offering you another alternative to play at home instead of using their service… I don’t think so
I think the next KOF is gonna look in graphics like that new Samurai Shodown pachinko game. XDZW sprites are not specially appealing for a casual audience, and I think SNKP is trying to gain a wider audience with their own game (and that’d be the reason they’re reportedly collaborating with 10 studios around the world).
By the way checking my Fei Long costume, ha ha:
I know they’ve been ripping off music from other games and animes, but for fuck’s sake. The music in this trailer actually says RIDGE RACER. At least steal songs that don’t tell people what game you’re stealing them from.
You are right, we arent the “demographic” in the sense of location but, fighting gamers are fighting gamers no matter the locale.
A console port, I imagine, wouldn’t hurt their current pc based user base and would just expand there user base in other areas. Sounds like a win/win to me.
If snkp decided to collaborate with an arcade port that would make it more likely to see a console port imo.
P.s. andreis e costume is classy lol
Except it’s not win/win because Tencent doesn’t own a console, they own QQ. Putting it on console would mean they would have to give money to either Sony or Microsoft for various things. It would also mean they would be putting the game on devices China is legally forbid from using. I don’t think they care if the game becomes incredibly competitive or popular outside of China. They made it for China, China games on PC because they have to, they don’t make the game for us. There’s no point in discussing it and there never has been a point. When they make an offline version of the game, when they make an arcade version of the game, if they localize the game anywhere outside of China, then we can talk about a console version. Until then, no, it’s not happening, it’s not going to happen, talking about it is pointless.
They are no longer forbidden, the law was changed like two months ago.
It gives me a little hope they’re giving the characters an “international” name, along the Chinese name.
This great dude Sheng Quan is translating Kuliya’s in-deep tutorials for every character to English:
Why does it seem like they are able to create characters so easily while other fighters take their sweet time to even make 2-3?
Is the process in creating character models and animation easier or something?
- Most of the characters are mostly ripped off from other existing characters from another companies.
- They are the third richest Internet company in the world.
My review for Terry and Benimaru
Lol who pissed in your cereal, grimm? There is no reason to go off the deep end. Why wouldnt people discuss a console port of a game if thats what they want? More importantly why do you care THAT much?
Anyways, I am will to try this game out but, dont know to begin? I see closed beta in the title, is that still relevant?
It is kind of important. Since there’s so many people who already missed the chance of trying the game (when it was really easy to get your beta key) only because they said they kept on waiting for an “Xbox release”… That will never happen .___.
You confuse being upset with being realistic. I don’t care if you want a console port, I’m explaining to you why it will never happen in hopes that maybe you will be less wishful about the situation because your wishes are unrealistic. I’ve been fielding questions about whether or not the game could even possibly get a console port for like 2 years now and the answer 2 years ago is the same as the answer now.
A rather cryptic tweet by some insider:

阿隆索之手: 今年内,SHINE的老板会出现,之后也会有1~2名奇怪的家伙乱入SHINE;在公测之前,暮的实力还不会暴露出来,因为太震撼了,可能会颠覆某些人的认知也说不定。
“this year, SHINE boss will appear after there will be 1 to 2 strange guy into chaos SHINE; Before beta, twilight’s strength will not be exposed because too shocked, could subvert Some human cognition instead.”
Apparently, at least two more SHINE members to join the roster.
It seems the boss (apparently named “Twilight”; 暮) won’t be appearing in the Beta, only in the finished version of the game…
The interesting part here is: They say the boss will arrive “this year”.
And if they’re saying he won’t appear until after the Beta ends… That would mean GAME COULD PROBABLY GO OPEN THIS YEAR!!
I’ve been playing this game again, was toying around with Sheva a bit… man I like him way more than Benimaru lol.

- He will arrive by the end of April/early May.
- Chinese name is “九夜” (Jiǔ yè)
- He is said to be “Yan’s master”.
- He fights using two swords.
- He looks young but actually he’s old than everyone else, except for Ameth and Legend.

How awesome would it be if there was a XDZW related announcement later that stems from this?
For instance, a XDZW port for non-Chinese audiences (probably minus Terry/Benimaru, due to SNKP)
That really isn’t how Tencent operates. This acquisition or partnership or whatever it turns out to be is likely so Tencent can put out things like Monster Hunter Online, which they have been in dealings with Capcom over for about a year now. Tencent doesn’t deal with companies to make them do work, they deal with companies to own what they already do. That’s why they make so much money, they find something popular then buy it.
