Xiaoyu Anti-Air?

This. So. Hard. I can’t belive how good it is.

Mistrust has a sweet hitbox. Only problem is that you can’t block (though you can’t block while you do other anti airs anyway). You might be able to combo off of it? Might be easier, but it can’t beat a skilled breakdance loop.

Not sure if this is max damage but off a cr.HK anti-air I have been doing SCC>cr.Fierce xx M Hakkesho>cr.HK as of patch 1.06.

you can get a bit more damage with cr.HK xx L hakkesho (hold), hakkesho, cr.HK. check the video thread for my video on 1.06 bnbs. to my knowledge the combos in that vid are currently the most optimal

Thanks my man. I kinda like her combos more now, before when I would play at any local spot people would get so mad over the 6 c.HKs in a row, ha.

yeah, i always thought xiaoyu and raven “took a hit” for the future and progress of sfxt. their cr.HP/HK loops were nerfed for the sake of streamlining, but you could argue that there were (and still are) dumber things in the game that remain unchanged

Ill try that tomorrow. Btw Tatsu you wanna teach me Xiouyu she’s deals soo much damage its hard not to pick her up. Also if you do quite i can carry on the Xiaoyu legacy

well, feel free to ask questions regardless. i think xiaoyu’s offense will be a bit more limited in 2013 because of her overhead nerf, but i’ve always thought of her as more of a teammate than a fighter anyway

You won’t have a cr. :lk: , cr. :mk: or a DP to mash with this character. I’m curious to see how long you last trying to play Xiaoyu.

I got those tatsu btw i havent read any nerf to the overhead did i miss somethings?

Also songi im using her like tatsu more as an assist character to deal damage off chun li launcher then mix you up once and kill a character thats my gameplan atm

this is her overhead:
Cyanide - Reduced block stun by 5F (On block -2F)

the other changes are for the most part negligible. overhead being + on block is definitely what made xiaoyu scary up close

cyclone left will now autocorrect after california roll crosses up though (and has been buffed to increase “float” on hit… comboable?), so maybe xiaoyu will have something like a berserker slash

also chun/xiaoyu sounds like a strong team just from a theoretic standpoint
