Man how do you get to play with others online, every time I try to join active mission I see nothing, is there some other way to get a party together?

Got skells for my entire squad now except for Irena, bitch managed to end up costing me 80k in repairs when the manual says cpu members always bail perfectly when they get bodied and don’t cost you anything.
I’m up for a few online missions since I never tried them.
The problem though is because if Nintendo stupid ass message system u never know when you get a message until u randomly check. Anyway my NNID is heerooftheskys
If you’re in the same 32 man squad you can send messages probably a bit more reliably through the game. The messages are short though so you may need to tag them with either the name or the person it’s intended for.
Anybody else having connection issues?
I just finished Chap. 5. WTF from out of nowhere lol. This is…quite the revelation…and explains a lot of things.
I’m about to start chapter 5, can’t wait to find out the twist everyone is talking about. I’ve been mainly doing a ton of exploring and trying to do side missions/collectopaedia stuff.
Been kind of avoiding affinity missions as they are my least favorite part of these games for me. But now I have to do some to start chapter 5.
Affinity missions are actually pretty good if you want to get extra story on the characters. I recommend doing them but make sure that you’re ready to be locked into to doing them because you won’t be able to progress in a lot of things once you’ve begun one.
So why do Prospectors have such a huge lead? Is it just people jumping on the bandwagon?

God I want to play this game, Im playing Xenoblade (wii) while waiting for my copy from America. Have you guys tried playing online? How was it, worth it and can you use the skells online?
I’ve played a few squad missions online and they’re fun, but I think they’ll be a lot better once everyone levels up a bit and we can take on bigger monsters.
Speaking of which- I just hit level 30 with my main and three other characters (Elma, Lin and Lao), bought four skells, and proceeded to cut through a bunch of level 42 enemies like butter. Five minutes later and everyone leveled up a couple more levels. It’s insane how much exp you get for taking on higher level enemies.

How the fuck are you cats levelling up? I’m trying to survey some landscape, but keep running into shit way outta my weight class, and I really don’t wanna do a bunch of grinding on weak monsters.
Try to find a spawn point where some enemies are a little above your level. You’re wasting time grinding weaker enemies because the exp scales. If you can find a travel probe where a few higher level enemies are manageable to beat that’s your best bet. Just keep respawning there and battling them.
