Xbox360 madcatz fightstick mod

Hi when I got mvc 3 I needed a quick fightstick before I built my own so the only thing I could find at one gamestop was a madcatz ss iv stick fo 49.99. Felt cheap but did the job until I made my own. It’s been shelved for a while now but for some reason today it struck me that might be able to add better parts to it.

I opened it up tonite and saw it looked like Sanwa parts(I know they are not real sanwa).

The question is can I use these parts I found at lizard lick inside this controller

Joystick: http://www.lizardlick.com/Sanwa-JLF-TP-8YT-SK-Joystick_p_260.html
The description says pcb is oriented for the madcatz se and te. Will it work in the vanilla fightstick model?

Buttons: http://www.lizardlick.com/Sanwa-OBSF-24-24mm-Pushbutton-Black_p_321.html
Imassuming the 24 mm means the button width not including the housing. The button on the controller measures 24 mm.

Plugs because I hate the extra 2 buttons http://www.lizardlick.com/Sanwa-OBSM-24-24mm-Hole-Plug_p_367.html

Right now mine has happ comp parts and I like the click and resistance on the stick but I keep hearing how the sanwa parts are great too and would be nice to try them as well as having a backup controller.

Would this work and be viable? I want to be sure because the parts are a little pricey.

Thanks in advance

Does no one read the stickies anymore?

Thanks for the link guess it’s possible.

Sorry bout that 1 st thing I did was check the stickies but I missed that tutorial quickly scanning it

You want 30mm snap in buttons for the top 8. That JLF is fine, Just make sure that the PCB is oriented the same as the stick you take out.
