i recently got a 2wire modem from at@t and they said it has wireless
capabilities. my question is will i be able to recieve the wireless signal on my xbox
if i buy the wireless-g adapter? if so what steps to i need to follow to start playing
on xbox live wirelessly. do i need to enter any information on the xbox
dashboard,etc?
You can’t use one of them adapters - where are you going to plug it in?
You’re best bet is to get a cheap wireless access point (shouldn’t be more than $30-$40 USD) configure as a repeater so it connects to your 2wire modem.
Once that’s done and you have everything correct it should be just a matter of plugging a network cable from the Xbox to the access point and it’ll be just as if the Xbox is directly connected to your modem.
