Xbox One Padhack Trigger Issue

Hey All,

Hoping someone can help me, my first attempt at any padhack and all going well until the triggers.

The diagram I was going off for the triggers is

.

However no matter which trigger I activate it always activates the LT.

I have also tried changing the points to the diagram

however again always the LT thats activated.

I have done a heap of searches and cant find anyone that has had the same experience.

Can anyone tell me if they have heard/seen this before?

Does this mean I did something wrong and have damaged the controller so trying to continue getting the triggers working is pointless?

Cheers

You need specific diodes, depending on which method you use to wire the triggers.

That is resistors not diodes you need for the trigger hack

I have tried with 100ohm resistors for each trigger and without. Both give the same result.

You need a 10k ohm resistor, 100 ohm is way to low of a resistance.

Check out this thread for more Info

Yeah checked out this page previously, however it only mentions the 10K resistors if you want to remove the two Analog cubes. I left them in, and in the post just above that section it states

“When connecting the triggers (RT & LT), you’ll need to use a 100ohm resistor”

I did some further testing and found that when the RT is activated it actually activates both LT and RT. I then got a magnet and placed it over the chips as indicated above in the second photo. The LT is actuated by the magnet however the RT is not. So im assuming I have damaged it somehow, is there any way around this?

Honestly this late in the game you are better off padhacking a 3rd party xb1 pad.
Only reason to use the 1st party is for wireless.

Hey all,
Having a similar issue to OP (it’s not just one trigger activating all the time in my case, neither works for me haha).

I have the 100ohm 0.5watt resistors on my wires coming off the triggers but the triggers are completely unresponsive.
Tested yesterday with a friends multimeter and found that when it completed the circuit from the board positive to the earthing wire, it sent a signal.

Can anyone with more experience give me some insight here?
I’m not sure where to go with it.

Those are something called hall effect sensors

I dunno about the op, but I fixed my issues up, thread here: Xbone Padhack Triggers
