Xbox One PadHack Thread - Calling the goons "Toodles, Gummowned, Phreak and You" Do it for the Kids

Hmmmm… Then what could it be that’s causing my buttons to go haywire?

Cheers

You know how on the underside of the Terminal PCB there are two rows of solder points corresponding to each button. Does it matter which row you solder the buttons from the Xbox One pad to? Or could you use either row?

It doesn’t matter. It’s just bridging the contact point with ground. It’s a good idea to keep it consistent though. For example all grounds on one side.

Still trying to figure out why my buttons are acting all crazy. The joystick directions work fine, but everything else is going haywire.

Do you have power going to both pads? Also, pics will help wonders

Do you mean the VCC? If so, I have the VCC from the Xbox one pad going to the 5v+ (Where the D+ D- SGnd and Gnd points are on the PCB in the fightstick). Is that the right place?

I’ll post some photos shortly.

When I plug in my stick, it’s like the RB and LB are the ones going haywire. My dashboard rapidly switches blades back and forth. No other buttons seem to work, besides the home button and Up down left right on the joystick.

The only thing i can think of off the top of my head is that you soldered the grounds to the signals on the other stick by the accident

Here are some photos…

This is the bottom side of the main PCB in the FightStick TE. I have the Gnd there and the VCC to the 5v

Here is the terminal PCB. I have all the buttons wired correctly and all have good connection via multimeter.

Let me know if there is something I did wrong, thanks.

Terminal strip - you have soldered all the button signals to the GND line.

Now that I’m looking at that Terminal, did I wire all those wires to the ground?! Or does it matter?

Of course it matters, see my reply above. You have a multimeter so I don’t know how you missed this.

Haha, it was 3am… I was exhausted.

Should I move my GND to the terminal too, or just leave it where it is next to the 5v

You will need to connect the GND point on the turbo panel pcb to a commonly shared GND point with all the other pcb’s. As said above, if you aren’t going to daisy chain everything then I’d suggest linking it directly to the pad pcb or terminal strip.

LOL i did the same thing my first time soldering to the terminal strip
You can leave your GND on the 360 board
move all of the signals to the other large spot and you’ll be good to go

soo will there be a full tutorial on how to padhack the xbone controller to a fightstick?
im 100percent sure this will help
"duh" but yeah maybe Jhino3384 can make one

scroll up and there is a full tutorial
there are various other guides to teach padhacking and modding in general
