Is it possible to get the PCB in the hori pro v or the razer and if not what would be the cheapest alternative to make a diy fightstick work on Xbox with minimal lag
Best PCB is the Brook UFB. Cheapest option is going to be something like the Hori Fighting Commander.
Don’t fuck up a beautiful 2D controller. Get the Brook, you’ll save so much hassle not having to solder.
The brook is so expensive tho… I just wanted to build my own cabinet out of wood but I’m almost better off getting my rap v than spending another 100 on the brook another question is it possible to just put a PCB for like Xbox 360/ps2 and get a cheap converter without having tons of lag
Brook handles two generations of USB systems natively and flawlessly, you won’t have to solder. You get what you pay for. If you want PS2 you can go Cthulhu or use the Brook converter which seems to have no perceivable input lag.
So Cthulhu plus converter Im looking at maybe saving 20$ I guess I am better of with brook universal with that do I have to buy the original Xbox one PCB or anything else extra
And what would you have to do if you just bought a mopei pxn and took the internals out of that and put it into your own box
And what exactly is the difference from fightstick you have to plug a controller into vs ones that you dont
UFB is plug and play - update the firmware, attack all your buttons to the screw terminals (using a common ground daisychain), mount it I’m the stick. No additional PCBs required.
This above
Screw terminals are great for beginners
I had bought a few xbox1 mini controllers, https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Wired-Mini-Controllers-Xbox-One/dp/B00PHDC224/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1523207104&sr=8-3&keywords=xbox+one+mini+controller
Looks like $30 now, but when I was looking around 2 years ago I would find em between $18-25.
