Xbox One AND PC fightstick?

Hey guys, I am new to the fighting club. I borrowed my friend’s stick and it was so much more fun then a controller so I need one! All my friends have xbox one’s and I have a PC so I need one to work with both. I read that the TE2 and the Razer Atrox triggers do not work and I understand this is MS fault and not the company’s because they ARE designed for xbox one and not pc. However the articles are 3+ months old and I can not find anything else on it. Is the problem fixed for those? Is there one that DOES work? Or is there any upcoming ones? I read that I should just install a 360 PCB so I can use it for my pc however I am unsure what I would need. I feel confident that I could make it work unless I had to solder something.
Anyways thanks for taking the time to read and I would appreciate any help!

Nothing has changed in the last 3 months, its a MS driver issue which MS them selves refuse to fix as their own XBox One game pads work fine on the PC. If you contact MS on the issue they refer you to Hori, Mad Catz or who ever else manufactured the arcade stick. The Stick manufactures will state that their product is only intended to work for the system it’s designed for.

Your Solutions

  1. Learn not to use the effected buttons. Optional: opening up your stick you can move wires around to re-map your buttons. Most people HERE prefer 6 buttons over 8.
  2. Ether replace the PCB or perform a dual mod
  3. Get a stick that is PC compatible like a Xbox 360, PS3 or PS3/PS4 controller (Note some early model PS3 Mad Catz TE sticks are not fully compatible with PC LINK HERE )

My words to the greater community, if you are a solely PC gamer and you want an Arcade stick AVOID the Xbox One sticks, look for a Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PS3/PS4 stick.

Thanks Dark. I was close to getting an xbox 360 stick but I want to be able to bring it to my friends house who uses an xbox one. However your answer pretty much makes it clear of my options so thank you very much.
