Xbox 360 wireless controller syncing issue

Search is broken.

I have this stick with an old wireless multi-ground xbox360 pcb. I play with it every day at home. When I brought it to a friend’s place, we couldn’t get the console to detect it by pressing Guide or Sync. It suddenly worked after 40 minutes or so of pressing random shit, though, but no one knew how it happened. When I got back home, I decided to test it again, and the console wouldn’t detect it.

What’s going on? >:l

The console has a sync button too. You have to do both the controller and xbox at the same time. If you were doing both then, well something is f*cked.

I pressed both at the same time many, many times. Something IS fucked. I just don’t know what it is.

If you have any way to hook the charge cable up to the pcb that will get it to detect instantly. I’ve done that a few times, as soon as the charge cable is hooked to both the pcb and the system it will work.

Whoa, really? Gotta get me a charge cable then. Thanks man!
