Anecdotal evidence means nothing, just because your slim ps2’s work fine it doesn’t magically change the fact that slims have a higher failure rate then fatties.
So where’s your evidence? I’ve NEVER heard anything about slims being worse off, not once.
I shouldn’t have brought it up even if it was an appropriate response to another post, further discussion of a non 360 system can’t lead anywhere good. Use google, the proof isn’t as conclusive as you might want but there’s more then enough out there to show people on several forums have complained about slim ps2 heating and having disc reading problems more often then fat ps2’s. Now if you want to discuss it further om me.
How much worse does ff13 look on 360? achievements vs better graphics not sure which way to go here.
Meh. I still have both of my models so if one craps out…
Anybody want to do a run on the LP2 Demo sometime this week? I want to see if we can get some communication ground rules down and just try and get used to working as a four man team.
I would but I still need a headset =/
ok, the control really is an issue in Scrap Metal. I really don’t see how you can be expected to race successfully in some of those stupid ass cars. Upgrading the “Grip” stat seems to actually make things worse. I upgraded Mr. Awesome’s car a few times, and it’s a complete disaster at this point like Toyota’s public image. Just a slight turn left leads to the bitch swerving all over the road and spinning around…nah, get outta here with that shit.
Well, I definitely won’t be getting all 200 achievement points in it, that’s clear as a bell now. I won’t even get close.
*Also, yet another controller is now gimped. The LB button barely works. This is all thanks to the rage problems again…I lost it and threw the controller at the table thanks to the bullshit going on in this game.
Heh, you don’t seem like a very angry person from your posts, hard to imagine you doing that XD.
I’m dying to get some console gaming in, but school is killing me right now.
I really hope Guwange makes its way to NA xboxlive.
After playing mushi and espgaluda 2, I just want more from CAVE.
-_-
Start saving them quarters. You got till May son.
I would but I lost my mic months ago. I just ordered a cheaper/better one from Amazon. Should get it Wednesday night at the latest. I also have to say that I have very little multiplayer experience with LP since the online is pretty much dead in vanilla and in colonies.
Just came across this and thought I’d share. I’m not familiar with the current pricing system (I don’t play my 360 online anymore), but hopefully this deal will help someone who does:
Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Subscription Card- $34.50 (was $49.99)

DOOD
I love this game too bad the online is so fucking limited. I was able to get all the achievements mostly using the v8 muscle car that shit is godly. But the game lacks in a lot of areas. For example you keep unlocking cars in single player for what?
There is nothing to do with them since a lot of the races are constrained by class types the whole 4 cars only on garage is stupid since you have certain races that forces you to use specific cars therefore you lose the upgrades you already had just for ONE fucking race.
The online is so limited it makes me want to cry. Only three modes, specific cars and you can’t change settings. Only four players with 4 ai players WTF. I want to play with people not bots sigh.
Such a great game missing so much potential.
Oh well
Hahah, Well I DO have one but it broke recently. Obviously I’ll have one by the time the game comes out, just don’t have one right now is all =P
I’d totally still be willing to play with you guys, but I’ll need to use AIM or something to keep in touch between sections. I’ve been through the demo probably at least 20 times by now so I know almost everything by heart in it.
Scrap Metal:
sheeeit, I broke down and started using the “Easy” control option…but the problem there is that it doesn’t have the crucial E-brake that the “Remote” control scheme has. Of course, E-brake is essential in a driving game for easier tight-turns or just swerving around 180 when you need it. It would be amazing if I could just combine those control schemes.
Also, there was hardly anyone on when I tried the online modes. I think the controls may have been a turn-off for quite a few would-be fans out there. With this and the short attention span concerning all arcade games these days…AND the issue of several high-profile retail games being released ever since the start of this year…sheeeit, I can see this game’s online population dropping to absolute zero even faster than normal…it has maybe a few more days left of any significant activity/popularity, most likely.
Yup I think most of the buyers got it for achievement whoring. =\ I love the game and I asked to see if ppl wanted to do a tournament on it and only one person replied. It has no community whatsoever. BTW I also used easy control schemes and you still have the e brake if you press x i believe. Only track I needed the pro controls was on the stupid monster truck track where you have to pop all 25 cars to get gold that was a fucking nightmare. Damn I wish this game would take off. I criez now
Almost time for that Perfect Dark, laptop guns will own you all.
I was looking for a deal on one of those. Good looking out
vandal hearts for 360 is pretty lame. short game for $15 arcade title and no challenge at all
ridiculous load times even though it’s playing off of the hd
Any hype for Sonic 4? Don’t like that it’s in episodes though.
No problem; I’m glad someone could put it to use!
I had the same issue with it on “dat Triple” - the loading was just kinda lengthy. Other than that, I enjoyed the game (except for the stupid-ass “escort” levels. I thought the dragon trap one was neat), but then again, I’m a sucker for SRPG’s.
