Let’s say DMC5 comes out and you’ve been at it on the lastsection on Dante Must Die mode for at least 3 hours when suddenly that little message pops up right where you’re near the end. You’ve probably been raging those entire 3 hours too to the point that its hard to contain yourself from tossing the controller into the damn wall. What if this thing just goes ‘EWWHIP SORRY GUYS I GOTTA SIT THIS ONE OUT!’ right in the middle of that? lol

You can. If you try to buy something, there should be a “press Y to purchase w/ MS points” option at the bottom.

Does anyone have a problem with the controller sync to the new Xbox slim? I’m trying to play Rock Band with my wireless guitar and it won’t read the sync. It’s pissing me off.

Yeah, after I traded in my COD 360 for it. At least this one’s purring like a kitten. I think those might have just gotten it rough during shipping. Thank God the transfer kit lets me play my games offline as well. Thought I would have to wait another year to do a license transfer.
For real? So the transfer kit also migrates the licenses at the same time? I thought one had to use the license tool from xbox.com independently of migrating all the data from the old HDD to the new console to associate thoses licenses to it.
that’s even better news about the transfer kit, now that my 360 got rrod’d again last weekend, I’m just upgrading to the slim.

So for this Gamestop trade in deal to work, do I have to pre order a Slim beforehand? Or can I just walk in there with my Xbox, and as long as they have the system, it should be okay?
Probably gonna do this deal sometime soon, as my Xbox hasn’t RROD in about 2 years, and I’m pretty sure the warranty is already done.

So the sound the Xbox 360 S makes when you press the power button or the eject button is absolutely amazing. It just sounds so cheerful.
anyone know if the slim also chews up games while upright?
I’ve switched my Xbox between horizontal and upright and it’s never eaten a disc unless it’s been moved while playing a game. The slim hasn’t eaten any discs for me yet either. Granted I just got it yesterday.
Also, I’m pretty sure I’m breaking some unwritten rule having a 360, PS3 and Wii all on the same shelf.
Any of you guys with the new 360s? Any experiencing the supposed heating issues?
