How are the Armored Core games on the 360, are they balls? Its the sort of series that on paper I always think rules but in practice after the first one I am not sure it is so great

But, Armored Core 4 and 4 Answer. They are the best controlling Armored Cores ever and the high speed combat is some of the fastest you’ll ever see in games. But the missions are bland in 4 and while 4A improves everything, the missions, for the most part, are still bland. Multiplayer seems to always come down to “Who has the fastest mech?!” so even if you are into big lumbering tank style mechs, you’ll lose. Which is a shame really. If you do decide to buy one, pick up 4A. The boss fights are spectacular and may induce pooping. Lost Planet 2 may have really big bosses but the stuff in 4A are beyond massive, like putting a city in the shade massive. Like Godzilla massive. And the few missons that are co-op are pretty fucking cool to play co-op.
But yeah, Armored Core 5 looks to be a nice dramatic shift into a new direction. The idea of smaller mechs intrigues me as realistically, a 50 foot humanoid machine makes zero sense in combat. It’s a big fucking missile absorbing target. However, Something only a few stories tall could really fuck up shit in urban combat or any combat zone for that matter. Game should be out this fall or next year I think. I THINK.
Cute. It’s nice seeing second parties expand to reach to the other side of the fence but unless these new IPs from Bungie or Insomniac are any good then it won’t even matter. Still, Xbox could use a cute game on it’s system. It would stand out better than another FPS set in a ‘gritty and realistic environment strife with danger and ugly things.’
armored core games on 360 are good. get AC for answer (AC4A) if youre gonna get one though because its pretty much AC4 but better. missions are pretty short and kinda bland but there are some really fun ones (the ones where you face off against other super-mechs like yours, usually). its definitely worth it for what it costs now.
im also incredibly hype for ac5. smaller mechs are cool i guess but i kinda like them at the size they are right now. one gripe ive always had about the AC games is that the guns dont feel beefy enough, hope they do something different in ac5.

Probably not the best video out there considering it’s from last year. I just don’t buy into the trend where something may force you to re-arrange furniture to play it and I see it as more of a fad which I’m hoping will just pass gaming by eventually.
Heck the only games I play on the Wii are usually the ones that I can sit down and play, unless my daughter wants to have a go at some bowling on Wii Sports.

Besides, I feel like motion controls like this really limit the types of games you can play. Can you picture playing an RPG, or an FPS, or Fighting game with absolutely no kind of standard interface? I doubt it’s possible, most especially in an intuitive manner.
