Aw yeah…my favorite brawler, final fight, is out today.
Damn Infinity Ward is losing even more people!
And Magic Sword! That game is awesome!!!
Dowloaded final fight and magic sword. The cabinet options are the best shit ever. Seriously, every arcade game should have this. The intro shows that this uses ggpo. Why this game and not ss4…
Well that is cool I will give it a try then, I loved the first 2 Splinter Cell games but stopped playing it. I am not a graphics whore or anything, I just can’t stand games that don’t run smooth or have frame rate issues.
Is there a good multi-player with splinter-cell conviction? Only reason I’m holding out on getting it is because I have no idea how the multi-player is with it, that is if it even has multi-player and not just co-op.
It doesn’t have multiplayer. Just the co-op. You get the invite to the Ghost Recon beta though.
It’s really awesome to see the huge GGPO image and something besides Backbone logo symbol at the start of the game. I hope this new company isn’t as shit as Backbone was.
$50 for the LE seemed like a good deal so I went ahead and pre-ordered. Probably not going to buy any other game until Fallout Vegas.
Speaking of Splinter Cell I dunno if its been mentioned already but its $42 shipped new on Ebay right now.
wtf why are people selling it lower than MSRP? game is still new.
Dunno but nevermind. The listing ended with 700 copies sold lol.
Stop me if you’ve heard this one.
Why do they call it the Xbox 360?
Yeah they said that before they came out. You should have paid the reduced price on it.
You didn’t pay the reduced price did you?
EDIT: My comprehension skills be damned. I read “dropped the price” as “dropped the ball.”
i normally play on PS3 but for the 360 when I’m playing Streetfigher 4, how do I go to the training room to practice combos without letting anyone on my friends list know that i’m online? Cuz yesterday when I logged on, I went to preferences and put my online status to “Offline”. But about 20 mins later, I was still being sent SF4 invites to play some player matches. Sometimes I just want to train without anyone knowing that I’m online or bothering me. What do you guys do?
Well…you could.
Unplug the ethernet cable plugged into the said Xbox or Set your status to busy, when set to busy. Your friends will see you on, but any invites, msgs, or chat invite you’ll know nothing about until you hit the guide button. Cause Busy turns off notifications.
you can set your status to away or offline so your not seen.
You have to do it through the xbox settings however and not sf4.
For nearly all of the customisation options when it comes to Xbox Messages, Voice chat, Status head to your profile and then choose Privacy Settings. You can select it so that you will appear online to everyone, appear online only to your friends or if you choose blocked you will appear totally offline.
However, you will still recieve messages even when you are offline. What you would have to also do is set Voice & Text Messages to Blocked. This means you shouldn’t ever receive any invites or messages from anyone. Just remember to change it back to friends only or everyone before joining an Xbox Live party otherwise you can’t hear them and they can’t hear you. I have mine set to friends only as it can make multiplayer lobbys a lot easier on the ears when a party is full or we’re in two different ones, but occasionally I’ll put myself as offline and block everything so I can have a quiet game.
Of course if you still want to receive these messages you could just go into Preferences and turn notifications off. You’ll still get them but no prompts will appear telling you that you have received it.
Just turn notifications off. Simple as that. Hit the guide button > right on the d-pad twice > prefferences > notifications > off
Do that and you wont see those messages anymore.
Because when you see it, you turn 360 degrees and WALK AWAY.
Jeez.
