Picked up Bionic Commando along with Ninja Gaiden 2 at a Buy 1 Get 1 sale today. Game is awesome, it’s a shame it didn’t sell well. Anybody here besides FurryCurry have a copy? We could set up some multiplayer!
Goddamn after seeing all those trailers I really want this game now. The single player campaign sounds great, and that open world lobby sounds like something I’d really be into.

The latest one is the “Jasper” motherboard. The difference between this and the Falcon is that the GPU was still 90nm while the CPU was made smaller to 65nm (wondering why they didn’t start with the GPU since that was the main reason for the RROD of 360s). With the Jasper motherboard both the GPU and CPU are now 65nm, meaning less power and less heat. As a result of the less power needed the power brick was also reduced from the Falcons 175W to 150W.
Finally, Arcade Xbox 360s had a onboard memory installed, the first models had 256MB flash memory on them, the reason for this was because the new NXE dashboard needed this extra memory. A few months afterwards a 512MB version came out and is currently what is out there for Arcade units. The best way to tell is just look on the side panel of the box to see how much memory it has.
There is of course rumors of a Slim Xbox 360 coming out (if true E3 will be when it will be announced officially) so this may be the last revision for this type of Xbox 360.

Anyone else picking up Splinter Cell Conviction this Tuesday? I have been waiting for this game for a while now. The single player is going to be great, but I am looking more forward to the co-op missions.
FurryCurry - Yeah Blur is so damn fun, I wasn’t expecting much from that game until I played the demo. Should of known it was going to be good because Bizarre Creations (maker of PGR and Geometry Wars) made the game.
Luckily I’m not into Westerns but I’m glad that this game is shaping up to be something special because ooo boy, we ain’t had a good Western since Custard’s Revenge.
I really hate that I like Blur so much. I really can’t afford another game in May but shit, i might have to find a way.
Quick question about headsets for 360. I want to get mic (wired preferably) to talk to others while i’m playing SF4 with friends in player matches. But the thing is, I play SF4 with a PS3 stick that has been modded for 360. I thought about just getting the wireless headset and be done with it but if I could avoid it that would be great. Does anyone know if the following would work:
- Play SF4 like I normally would with my modded PS3 stick in player matches
- Get a wired headset and plug it into my 360 wireless controller
- Place the wireless controller on the ground beside me but put the headset on so that I could talk to people on my friends list.
Has anyone else tried this or could try it?
I don’t think that would work because when you have another controller in you select a profile, which would be different from the one you’d use for your stick.

Deathsmiles Limited Edition is up for Pre-order on Amazon.com and Gamestop.com (instore too, I just paid 2 off in full at my local one). Hop on this shit people, the game is too fucking good. I’ve had the import a while and can assure you Chris Hanson won’t be waiting in your kitchen if you do decide to buy the game.

Man, I love the dramatic, edge-of-your-seat final moments in Left 4 Dead. Plantation scene finale on “Swamp Fever”…I made it onto the boat with exactly 1 point of health! If a regular, “common” zombie so much as bumped into me it would’ve been all over. This was single-player mode, and the 3 bots were still tied up with Specials and the horde back at the plantation…so there was no reliable help, obviously.
*sidenote-- I was wondering how long it would take my compulsive-liar of a friend to resort to the “achievement glitch” lie…finally, he decided to use it today…claiming he finally did beat all the campaigns in L4D2 but his achievements never updated. Yeah, sure. I know this is a real situation that happens on occasion, and I’ve actually seen a “glitched achievement” situation with him on another game…but I’m doubting this is for real. Heh, this takes me back to the good ol’ days when he’d say shit like "yeah, I flipped one of those Abobos one time…", or going on about his copy of Mortal Kombat 2 suddenly doing MK3 things (counting combos, certain characters showing up, etc.)
*Insane mode on Castle Crashers–you can level up ridiculously fast in the damn forest… trying repeatedly (and failing) to beat the Troll boss and all his little guys… I went from level 45 to 52, already close to 53 in no time.
While Deathsmiles was a fucking no-brainer to slam cash on. Im on the fence on Agarest. I moreless wanna buy it to support Aksys and their bringing over of some of these cool as fuck games.

I love how Canada constantly gets butt fucked by MS. Shit costs more, we get like ZERO features on Live (no TV shows and very little movies to download), and we usually get paired with Europe/Distant Lands for online games (I would love to play more fellow canucks)
