Hi guys, I’m new in the forum. I need help with the xbox 360 pcb, I cut this part by mistake. What is it? , can i change / buy this piece?
help me!
That’s the Clock crystal (there an actual piece of precisely cut and ground quartz crystal inside), it is needed so that chips on the controller can maintain their proper cycles and work as it should.
fuck, so difficult to replace,it is possible to change it?.
I dunno how you managed to break that off, but I’m presuming that, if you can get your hands on an identical model (the model/specs are written right on it), you should, in theory, be able to desolder the original one and solder the new one in.
I needed space and cut the triggers but also cut that piece lol. I found quartz crystals for soldering, but I do not know which one corresponds to the pcb in mhz?
quartz crystal of 360 pcb:
n12.000
2a20pf
If you look up the numbers that written on the clock crystal, you can find out what values it has and find a replacement.
I tried and didn’t find anything useful
It could be just for the rumble. Microsoft is weird as they like to use proprietary chips so its hard try to decipher what it is from just photos
yes,I also tried to look for the number written on the glass and did not find something similar
guys!, I have fixed the problem, replace it with another pcb I had, use a quartz crystal of 12mhz (12000) and I worked, but I have another problem since I removed the triggers, the RT is always can not return to neutral, need i some resistance ?
NICE, I got to remember this the next time this comes up.
At least now I can recommend the correct part from Digikey or Mouser.
I’ve removed triggers from the triggers, lt and rt are always on, how can I fix it
yea, but i have the problem with the triggers, I’ve removed triggers from the triggers, lt and rt are always on, how can I fix it? I need to use resistors?, some diagram?
You have to invert the triggers.
I know there guides on how to do so on SRK Tech Talk.
Use the Search Function or use Google to search the forums
thanks, I’ve already fixed the triggers problem, all fixed, thanks for the help
