I had a look through the forums but couldn’t find a suitable previous thread.
Has anyone found a good device that will allow xbox 360 controllers to work on the PS3?
Notably for games like street fighter.
Help appreciated.

and there are plenty of guys Gummowned, and others who supply their modding services in the trading outlet if you are not confident with your soldering skills and time
What kind of controller?
If you have Xbox Madcatz TE or other common ground arcade stick:
not so simple.
Dual strike SMD can be added to Madcatz fightpad.
All need electronics skill. No plug and play solutions.
It will be mostly for friends who own 360s but don’t have a PS3. We often use the PS3 for street fighter. One guy uses the Hori VLX and the other a Hori fightpad. They will bring their own 360 controllers for use on my PS3. I guess modding would be ruled out in this situation.
If they’re willing to drag the VLX over they might as well bring the xbox as well. There isn’t a good 360->PS3 converter.
Without internal mods you’re out of luck.
Have the dude VLX modded and the just buy a FightPad for the other guy.
Yeah. For you it sounds cheaper to just buy an xbox 360 and street fighter. Aren’t xbox 360’s worth like $50 over there? It sure seems that way the from all the news reports showing that a total of 5 xbox 360’s where sold in Japan.
You can have the VLX dual modded.
What type of Hori Fightpad do you have? If its the hori fighting commander 3 then that can also be dual modded with a 360 TE pcb + imp.
360 Madcatz fightpads can also be dual modded. Using a dual strike SMD board.
360 MS pads are the trickiest. The only one dual moddable would be the late version wireless one and using a dual strike SMD board. Wouldn’t be perfect as the right analog wont work at all for ps3 and the left analog could only work as digital dpad and the LT/RT would act as digital.
