Since the pcb from my arcade stick died I had to use the xbox 360 pad to play Sf4, but I didnt like the d-pad so I did this:
I superglued the top part from an old analog joystick from a xbox controller. I have to say that it improved the controllers d pad a lot, but I still have to get used to it since I used to play with an arcade controller.
Sorry for bad english
why not just use the analog stick thats already on there?
why not just use the analog stick ?
edit: gah, while im waiting my 100 more seconds to post, i forget to post and end up posting 10 minutes later >.>
I can understand where he’s going with this. If the analog stick is anything like a Gamecube, PS2 or PS3, then it’s way too sensitive. It’s hard controlling the motions IMO. By putting it onto the Dpad, it’s a little more stiff, and you have better control.
I dont like to use the analog stick because it is very unprecise, by putting one on the d-pad I got a hybrid, with the comfort of the analog joystick and the 8 direction d pad.
