XBCD drivers for Fightstick TE?

Same here

FWIW, after I posted asking for more help I installed XBCD 1.07 followed by the link above:

After rebooting, my HRAP EX magically started working! Maybe give that a shot.

Well maybe this thread will lead to an answer for my problem.

My Hori comes up just fine and does what its supposed to under the controller option in my Control Panel (XP).

However when trying to run MAMEWAH, it holds up indefinatly. I’m thinking it has to do with the ‘other joysticks’ or soemthing that aren’t on the Hori, but its just a guess/shot in the dark. I tried using XBCD with absolutly no work, it wouldn’t recognize it and M$ wouldn’t even let me kick the driver off rolls eyes the system. Does anyone else have this issue or know whats causing it/how to fix it?

The problem is that the hori stick is being registered a s Pov Hat and mame does not recognize that type of input device, what you need to do is install the XBCD drivers and with that yo change the pov hat to x y axis.
If you need any help just pm your email and ill send you the everything you need with instructions.

Lol. I just got a 360 SE stick and i had to pretty much do the same thing for it to work.

Added this line to my XBCD.inf and it pick up the stick

%XBCD_360.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0738&PID_4718 ; Street Fighter IV FightStick

I’ll do that at work tomorrow hating doing e-mail from home heh

i am having the same problem too!! Just got my xbox version of the Madcatz TE SF4 TE stick and i m trying get it to work!! (i m new to this forum btw, anyone can email me drivers and instruction at mickaa@gmail.com???

Try changing the mode of the stick between dpad, left analog and right analog. It seems to register different things in Windows. It’s a little switch next to the X button.

I had to set my TE to RS (right analog) to make it work with MAME. Didn’t need any XBCD drivers in vista or Win7, it just autodetected as Xbox controller.

is it just mame or does it work on nebula too? trying to get my stick to work on nebula, but no luck so far:sad:

Don’t know what Nebula is, sorry. I had it working perfectly with MAME at least. nullDC (dreamcast emulator) was a different story, though.
So no Marvel vs Capcom2 emulation with stick. Good thing it comes out on XBL soon anyway.

thx bytex i got it to work in mame!!!

But we still need to find a way so we can play Capcom VS SNK 2!! :lovin:

Can someone help me out with the drivers and the .inf? email is notforumguy@gmail.com
