By lacking a projectile I meant a Ki attack. Batgirl’s a trained assasin from birth, prolly won’t bring anything new to the table Ryu hasn’t faced before since Ryu’s also been training since infancy (Gouken may have taking out the killing aspects of Ansatsuken but Ryu is still capable of killing hence his Shin Shoryuken is stated to be able to kill a man.) She’s still a little girl last time I saw her, in the beginning of the series (I stopped reading after some Metahuman programmed her to talk with his powers, how lame). Long story short, different universes, different results, all dependent on the whims of whatever writer. Batgirl is still not a major DC character, not even a JLA Member, is not even rocking super powers. Ryu is Street Fighter’s main character and still a major Capcom character. The only person who’d write a story of Ryu loosing to Batgirl either really loves Batgirl or really hates Ryu, or is a pervert, I dunno. Now can we please move this discussion over to the Marvel Q & A thread or something? Or at least pick this up when someone writes an SF vs. DC fic. This conversation seems really off topic in this thread. :karate:
Chapter 13 - “Eye of the Psycho Soldier!” Part II
After being tossed to the left side of this large room with various computer moniters and such behind him Cyclops tried to rise to his feet but to no avail. Vega telepoterd by his side and kicked him in the ribs making him fall down again. Cyclops still managed to stand up quickly and fire an “Optic Blast!” at Vega, but he had already teleported behind Cyke’s back and punched him in the back of his head. Vega’s fist instantly got some of Cyke’s blood on it as the X-Man fell to his knees.
“HA! HA! HA! Fool! You’re Optic Blasts are worthless against an opponent outside of your line of fire. Fighting me is as useless as fighting your shadow Red Eye!” Cyclops stood up and turned around to blast him in the face but vega ducked and performed his Crouching Light Punch hitting Scott in the family jewels! Cyclops held on to his ‘family treasure’ as he yelled in agony. Next up was Vega’s Crouching High Punch and this uppercut set Cyke on Light Blue Flames! As he went soaring back still aflame Vega didn’t let up and struck him with his Somersault Skull Diver, and this two hand aerial strike tripled the flames on the X-Man’s body! The X-Men leader hit the gorund as he looked like he was being burned to death, but soon enough as we’ve seen before the flames dissapeared, but not the Psycho Power weilder’s persistence as he struck Cyke with his Double Knee Press!
After being struck with this two legged kick, Cyclops thought to himself. “He’s too fast. I’m not going to be able to win this fight just relying on my Optic Blasts.” And before he could soar very far away from being hit with the Double Knee Press, he placed his right toes on the ground, spun around and nabbed the nefarious crime lord with his Cyclone Kick! The first kick of this move struck Vega in the chest, the second hit came low and took Vega’s feet out from under him. Quickly Cyclops followed up with an Optic Blast, not letting up on the blast as he had Vega pinned down who was screaming as the red energy of the blast was keeping his back to the floor.
“I did it! I had to rely on my Martial Arts training to knock him to the ground and then use my Optic Blast. It’s only a matter of time before Vega passes out.” Cyclops thought to himself yet again.
But you know this fight isn’t over just yet. Vega’s Rising Psycho Shot Projectile blasted the leader of X-Men’s Blue Team away! Next the Street Fighter Boss character performed his Hikou which allows him to float in the air like Storm and Magneto can in Capcom fighting games. He flew straight up in the air and then above his opponent and began to rain down on him with his with his Head Press move. But as many villains in fiction say, he was ‘Foiled Again!’ for Cyclops stoppped him cold with his “GENE SPLICE!” This two hit rising uppercut followed by a vertical Optic Blast was enough to ground the Leader of Shadowloo.
Our Mutant hero didn’t let up for one second, catching his foe with his Double Fist move, five left and right jabs. Next was his Double Leg, five Low left and right kicks. Not stopping this onslaught of blows he went right into his Double Kick! The first hit was a thrusting kick to the chest and the second was a two legged somersault back flip kick much like Guile’s somersault as both feet struck Vega’s Chin!
Vega actually allowed himself to get struck with these twelve blows because during this time with his right hand he was charging his Psycho Field Projectile behind his back! After Scott’s last strike and before he could touch the ground after the back flip, Vega’s slow moving Psycho Field Prjectile managed to strike Cyke in the stomach! Vega teleported away before the explosion as the Psycho Field erupted into three large electric Psycho Power orbs! Cyclops was set on fire yet again but this time he didn’t even have the energy to yell. He fell to the ground like a lifeless doll.
“HUH! HUH! HUH! This dog definitly hs bite! But why do you hold back? Let me see your true power!” Vega lifted Scott by the neck and attempted to remove his visor. “No…Don’t…My power…can kill…I can’t…control…” But Vega did not heed this warning as he removed the visor and threw it on the ground! Cyclops who already had his eyes closed yelled “NO!” With Vega’s free left hand light blue electricity sprung from it, forcing Cyke’s eyelids wide open! “…I…can’t feel…my power!” the Mutant thought to himself as Vega could see into his his baby blues. Vega pushed him away and laughed, “HA! HA! HA! You’ve been psyched out by my Psycho Power! HA! HA! HA!”
Cyclops was very confused. Normally he would see everything in a shade of red, having learned how to differeniate all of the colors by the subtle changes in the shades of red he viewed. But this time after a few seconds of his eyesight adjusting he could see all of the colors of the spectrum. “How… how is this possible?”
Vega’s left hand continued to radiate with electricity. “I’m holding back your Optic Blasts with my Psycho Power. Cyclops, you are a very strong fighter. Join Shadowloo and with the aid of my Psycho Power, you will be able to use your Optic Blasts whenever you like without the use of Ruby Quartz. You will be able to see just like everybody else. No longer will you be a freak who has to wear red sunglasses wherever you go. No longer will you live in fear of your glasses falling off in public and assassinating everyone in the vicinity. This fight is over. You can not defeat me and your friend can not defeat Magneto. It’s not to late to join the winning team.”
Scott contemplated for a while and then took out a photograph of Jean Grey he always kept on hand and took a look at his very attractive girlfriend. “Jean… to be able to stair into your beautiful green eyes…” Next thing you know, Scott’s right eye blasted the picture into smithereens! “HEY! WHAT THE HELL?”
“HUH! HUH! HUH! I let up on my power for a second to illustrate my point. This is how you are now. How can you spend your nights with the woman you love? One slip of what I’m guessing is some kind of Ruby Quartz night time visor and you will kill her in your sleep. There is no way you could even contemplate a future with this woman.” As Vega said this Cyclops began to stair at the last remnants of her picture that were going up in flames. “Join us. I will deliver Jean Grey to you. You will both live happily ever after. Your only other option is death at my hands!”
“…No.” Cyclops’ eyes began to glow red as the blue energy on Vega’s hand began to disappear. “You… are fighting against my Psycho Power!” “I…am not a freak. This is who I am. I will never forsake the gifts I was born with. I will continue to use my powers to protect the innocent, no matter what the cost. We X-Men will continue to fight for a world where all are excepted and treated equally. And such a world has no room for Psycho Powered Psychopaths like you!”
Cyclops blasted Vega’s left shoulder and punched two holes right through the man because without his Ruby Quartz visor his power was unchecked! Light blue smoke started to rise from both of these holes as Cyclops started shooting blasts all around the room, and the endless ricochets looked like a laser light show. All of these blasts which bounced off either a wall, cieling or floor managed to strike Vega’s body and punch more holes into him making him look like swiss cheese! As these blasts hoisted his body up with the endless barrage of blows, Vega charged his right hand with Psycho Power and came at Cyclops with his “PSYCHO CRUSHER!” But Cyclops unleashed his Super Optic Blast! With this secondary Super Art, he blasted the ground to cause a ricochet, and as his power was unchecked he made a huge gapping hole through Vega’s stomach! And then he looked straight at the villain as the blast drove Vega back sending him flying towards the computers behind him! This caused a huge explosion and created a gigantic hole in the temple’s side! The blast continued to drive Vega away about 100 feet! Finally Vega’s body fell from the path of the Optic Blast. Huge chunks of his body were missing as light blue smoke seemed to pour out of every angle. Vega yelled “NOOOOOOOO!” as at this amazing height he fell into the thick of the jungle, seemingly to his death.
Cyclops’ blasts started to go out of control flying everywhere. He took out his Ruby Quartz glasses and put them on. The battle had fatigued Cyclops, as he fell to one knee, right before collapsing.
NEXT UP: Star Wars Episode 3 Ruled! Cyclops didn’t turn to the dark side but too bad someone did in that flick and here’s a hint, it wasn’t R2 D2… Anyway, the big one, Magneto vs. Ryu is coming in a few weeks! Now off to reward myself by reading the comics Sagatryu put up. Catch ya next time!
Chapter 14 - “God Loves, Does Magneto Kill?” Part 1
Ryu continued to attack Magneto’s Force Field and with each punch he was repelled several feet away, but the distance he was tossed back became less and less with each punch. Finally his Ki began to circulate around his body looking like white electricity. With the full force of his Hadou Energy he attacked Magneto’s huge bubble again and again with rapid left and right punches. He yelled out “HYA! HYA! HYA!” over and over again, and this time he stood his ground.
“HA! HA! HA! Pathetic fool! There is no way a mere Flatscan can penetrate my Force Fie…”
Magneto never got to finish that sentence for with a strong left punch Ryu managed to open a hole in the Force Field, a little bigger than his fist! Quickly after the hole appeared, Gouken’s student opened his left hand as a small white globe about the size of a marble appeared to float just in front of it. The marble shot the Marvel character in his stomach at the speed of a laser, and this small Hadou attack was enough to drive Magneto back about twenty feet as he dispersed his Force Field on impact!
When the Master of Magnetism rose to his feet and clenched his fists at his sides his Magnetic Power manifesting in light purple energy covered his body, much like bolts of lightning just like Ryu had surrounding himself. Next Magneto’s Electricy flew straight at Ryu. The Street Fighter stood in the position he’s shown in the CVS games in S Groove where he charges his energy, closed fists at his sides with his knees bent. Ryu’s ‘white electricity’ flew right at Magneto’s. Both the Hadou and the Magnetic Energy clashed in the middle, neither gaining ground. Pretty soon with all of the energy flying around Ryu and Magneto were caught up in what looked like a huge electric hemisphere, the shape of a globe cut at the equator. Even this half sphere looked like it was cut in another half. One half on Ryu’s side was of Hadou, the other on Magneto’s side was of Magnetism, as this semi globe was cut right down the center with half of it white and the other half light purple! This match was quickly turning into the ultimate battle of Hadou vs. Magnetism!
With no regard for his personal safety as all of this energy was flying around, Ryu charged at the powerful Mutant within the half sphere. Magneto also dashed at our hero and they met right in the center. Magneto at the end of the light purple side and Ryu at the end of the white side. The man who sometimes goes by the alias Magnus grabbed Ryu right shoulder with his left hand. With his free hand he was about to blast Ryu with an E-M Disruptor, but Ken’s best friend stopped the E-M Disruptor projectile short with his Variable Counter “HADOUKEN!” The Hadouken slamming into the E-M Disruptor was just too much as the entire half globe exploded! All was covered in an even lighter shade of light purple! Both of the combatants went soaring back, Ryu’s back slammed against the wall behind him but this time it was Magneto who hit the wall behind him upside down and face first!
Ryu didn’t let up for one second as there was no rest for the not so wicked World Warrior. Using the cover of the blinding light he sprinted straight to the former leader of The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. As soon as the light disappeared, Magneto could see Ryu coming right at him. Magnus used his Magnetic power so that nearly millions of very small, almost microscopic pieces of metal rose from the metallic floor. The purpose was so Magneto could fuse these metallic filings around Ryu’s body, freezing him like a metallic statue and that is exactly what happened! But just before Ryu becoming a statue he was in the middle of performing his one hit Senpukyaku kick. His now metallic foot slammed into Magneto’s helmet! The impact caused the metal that covered his leg to shatter from the knee down, and Ryu blasted the rest of his metallic shell off with the white Ki of his Hadou energy, which again took on the appearance of lightning bolts surrounding his body!
“HYPER GRAV!” yelled Magneto as he performed his Hyper Graitation Move. Four light purple spheres became one sphere that struck Ryu’s chest, he couldn’t move as he was lifted up from the ground and brought within close range of the malicuos Mutant. His standing HP punch which omits a wave of Magnetic Energy knocked Ryu back, and before the Karate Practitioner hit the ground he was struck with Magneto’s “E-M DISRUPTOR!” Ryu yelled in agony as it felt like every square inch of his body was in excrutiating pain! Just before Ryu touched the ground Mags cought him with his crouching HK, as this sliding kick made his landing even less comfortable if that was even possible. With the Mutant’s crouching HP he punched the floor and this caused two streams of energy to rise in a twister like motion! This attack sent our hero flying high up and crashing down hard. Ryu remained lying on the ground as if he was taking a nap at the worst possible time in his life.
Magneto performed his Hikou and managed to fly up in the air about ten feet and flew back about fifteen. “MAGNETIC TEMPEST!” yelled Magnus. This Super Art took small metallic fillings from the floor just like he did earlier, only this time he reformed them into huge metallic chunks to fly right at Ryu. Somehow Ryu found the energy to quickly wake up, run right under the attack until he was below Magneto where he stuck him with his famous “SHORYUKEN!”
Now it was time for Ryu to juggle Magneto in the air as he touched the ground first. After the blow it looked like the former leader of the Acolytes was going to land on the man who defeated Sagat in the first Street Fighter Tourney, but Ryu sent him back up in the air with his Aerial Launcher, his crouching HP Uppercut which he yells “HYAH!” after he executes. Next he quickly leaped up to Magneto and caught him with a quick combo - HP, HK, his Aerial Single Kick move, a Hadouken and just before the Hadouken could push Magneto’s body very far he finished the combo off with an aerial “TATSUMAKI SENPUKYAKU!” Magneto fell to the floor and it looked like he was down for the count. His head was tilted to the side as he landed on his chest, with the upper portion of his body facing Ryu. Magneto’s eyes were closed as well. Standing above him, Ryu declared “You must defeat my Aerial Rave to stand a chance!”
With blinding speed Magneto flew and rammed his body against Ryu, causing his helmet to strike Ryu’s stomach like a cannonball. He quickly rose his head as the back of his helmet struck Ryu in his chin. “HAH! HAH!” yelled Magneto as he always does when he performs his standing HK, two high kicks that send you soaring high. Ryu managed to flip his body in the air so he could land on one knee but he had no defense whatsoever for Magneto’s next Super Art, his “MAGNETIC SHOCKWAVE!” When Magneto punched the ground yet again, huge columns of energy struck the Ansatsuken Warrior! It’s intensity felt a hundred times more powerful than the E-M Disruptor! Ryu yelled out in shear agony once more, a lesser man would be dead right now.
Ryu still managed to clumsily stand up on his feet. “He… is too powerfull… I must end this… with one attack…” he thought to himself.
Just then the computer monitors that were by where Vega was sitting earlier before his fight with Cyclops began started to make a lot of noise and flash red.
Ryu cupped his hands into his famous pose as his Hadou energy flowed around him once more. He started to form a white ball of energy in his hands as he said “SHINKUU HADOU…”
Suddenly the white ball of energy in his hands dispersed and the Hadou energy flowing around his body also faded away. “What’s wrong with me?” Thought Ryu to himself. “I… can’t move a single muscle!”
“HA! HA! HA! Foolish child! This fight is over!”

Chapter 15 - “God Loves, Does Magneto Kill?” Part II
There stood Ryu with his hands cupped in the Hadouken pose, his mouth wide open as he couldn’t even blink.
“HA! HA! HA! Foolish Homo Inferior. Did you really think you were a match against the Master of Magnetism? With my Magnetic Powers I have frozen the iron content in your blood. With but a thought I could rip you to shreds but you’ve been entertaining to say the least. I’ll let you sit back and watch the end of your world as you know it.”
“You see Flatscan, after Apocalypse was defeated by Cable he found a way to return to this Earthly plain by absorbing Energy from powerful Martial Artists such as yourself and Mutants. But he absorbs even more energy when Mutants and Martial Artists battle, and this lair is a huge conductor that has been wired to send such energy straight to him. I merely extended our battle by not destroying you with but a thought so Apocalypse could gain the remaining energy he required to awaken. Still, even at the level I was fighting I did not expect you to perform as well as you did. I am quite impressed. No matter, the rise of Homo Superior is at hand!”
All of the Computers making noises and flashing like crazy was to announce that Apocalypse was ready to awaken. Magneto turned his back on Ryu. The back wall that was on the opposite side of the one Ryu and Cyclops entered, the one that was plain with no door, computer circuitry or anything began to rise up vertically. It revealed Apocalypse’s stage in X-Men vs. Street Fighter! Incased in glass cylinders on that stage one could see Psylocke, Dan, Blanka, Iceman without being Iced up, Forge, Beast, and many other Mutants and Street Fighters!
Floating above the huge gapping hole was Apocalypse. What looked like various bolts of electricity representing all of the colors of the rainbow began to enter his body as he laughed like a madman. Storm and Nash vs. Dhalsim, Ken vs. Birdy, Ken vs. Sabretooth, Wolverine, Gouki and Birdy vs. Juggernaut, Chun-Li and Rogue vs. Vega and Killer Bee, Chun-Li vs. Rogue, Wolverine vs. Gouki, Gambit and Nash vs. Zangief and Rogue, Cyclops vs. Vega and Ryu vs. Magneto. All of these great battles left huge ammounts of Ki and Mutant Energy residue upon completion. Even though Ryu vs. Magneto didn’t have a proper ending, the energy put out by the combatants during the fight left enough residue for Apocalypse to absorb as he finally had the power to awaken! As Apocalypse continued to laugh his entire body went from looking like a ghost you could see through to becoming solid. It was only a matter of time before he was back in our realm, and more powerful than ever!
Since Ryu has the gift of absorbing Ki directly from nature, he began to do just that. From the gapping hole that was made during the fight between Cyclops and Vega, much like SF2V it looked like small white dots were flowing out of the huge trees from the rainforest. These white dots began to flow into Ryu’s body. Such a spectical could only be viewed by those highly trained in Martial Arts. Ryu still didn’t have the power to move.
“I… appreciate the gift. But this is still not enough. I need more power!”
Ken and Wolverine were running down a corridor on their way to Apocalypse’s Stage, they weren’t that far. Suddenly, Ken stopped. For a split second, he could see what Ryu could see. Him looking at Magneto’s back as Apocalypse was floating in the air ready to awaken. “Wait a minute!” said Ken as he stopped running. “Ryu… he needs me!” Wolverine stopped running, turned to look at Ken and said, “Huh? Of course he needs you bub that’s why we’re running…” Suddenly Ken assumed his stance from the SF2 Movie that he used to heal himself when Vega hurt him in that flick. He began to chant. Wolverine being highly trained in Martial Arts himself could see small white dots flowing out of Ken’s body.
Chun-Li was heavily sedated and lying on a metallic platform that looked like Frankenstein was created on. While nothing was piercing her skin, there was various metallic instruments surrounding her body. In the room there was was about seven scientists including Dr. Senoh. They were looking at a huge computer monitor that had Chun-Li’s silouhette in black against a read background. Underneath in black block letters on the screen it read ‘SHADOW LADY.’ The silouhette turn to it’s side and it’s arm extended and took on the shape of huge drill. Suddenly, Chun-Li’s eyes opened wide as she said “Ryu!” While she couldn’t see what Ryu saw like Ken was able to, she sensed that her friend was in trouble and needed her help. Chun-Li rose as all of the minature metallic pieces of equipment were ripped off of her body. Extremely quick she rose up and beat up all of the scientists, moving in a circular motion and kicking them all in the head. Dr. Senoh tried to run away but he was taken out with her Arc kick as her foot slammed against his cranium. With all the scientists knocked out, Chun-Li assumed the position she uses in CVS2’s S Groove when she charges up, leaning down on one knee with her other leg and both of her arms stretched out. As she said “HAAAAAAAH!” small white circles of energy began to leave her body.
Storm was still helping Dhalsim walk as she was holding his body up. “Stop. Ryu needs assistance.” Storm didn’t question Dhalsim as he let go of her. Dhalsim assumed his Yoga position and began to float in the air. White circles escaped from his body as well, however Storm could not see them.
A Sentinel’s head blasted through a metallic wall as it was covered in Darkstar’s black energy. “Which way Zangief?” “Outside and to your left!” Vazhin, Darkstar and Garnoff were seen running out of the giant hole made by the Sentinels head and ran to their left. Next outside of the hole was Nash, Zangief, and Rogue flying yet still carrying Gambit in her arms. Suddenly Nash and Zangief stopped. Rogue right behind them asked them “Why’d yall stop? What’s wrong?” “An allie needs our help.” answered Nash as he turned to face Rogue. “DA!” agreed Zangief. Nash assumed the position Guile uses in CVS in S Groove, standing in a fighting stance. Zangief used his charging up CVS S Groove stance as well, his fists were clenched as he said “HRRRRRR!” Just like Storm Rogue was unable to see the energy escaping their bodies.
Magneto stood with his back still turned away from Ryu who was absorbing all of this energy. “It’s still… not enough…” thought Ryu. “I need… more power!”
Cyclops woke up yet he was still fealing very weak. With Ryu not being a Mutant, he was surprised that he got a feeling that Ryu needed his help. He was able to stand only on his hands and knees. He raised his head up slightly. Behind his Ruby Quartz Glasses his eyes began to radiate with energy. Small red circles came from his eyes and went towards Ryu’s direction.
He wasn’t the only X-Men who felt that Ryu needed his help. Wolverine extended his claws and growled as streams of flames that rose diagonally from the ground that represented the Ki of his Berserker Rage went flying up in the air. From these steams red orange circles emerged from them.
Storm also had a feeling that Ryu somehow needed her power as well. She flew up in the air as Electricity came out of her hands. Which created small white circles in turn.
Rogue remained stairing at Nash and Zangief not really understanding what was going on. Gambit finally woke up. “Ryu…” “Gambit!” “Chere, he need our help too.” Gambit lifted up a card and charged it with Kinetic energy creating small pink circles. Rogue did not even have a remote feeling of Ryu neeeding her help since her mind was difficult for even Mutants like Professor X to penetrate. She did however follow Gambit’s lead. Not knowing how to focus her own Mutant Energy, she still had some of Gambit’s power left over. She closed here eyes and her right fist became aglow with Kinetic Energy. Pink circles rose from her fists as well.
Having the power to Ashura Warp vast distances Gouki was already hundreds of miles away at the nearest Airport. He was speaking to a clerk working there. “So, you want the next available flight leaving for New York, correct? Hmmm, a seat just opened up, I believe we can fit you in. Might I ask what is your reason for traveling? Is this business or pleasure?” “There is a certain… Spider I wish to squash.” “…Aaaaalrighty then…” Suddenly Gouki looked behind his left shoulder. Even though he was miles away, he was such a powerful Martial Artist he could still feel Ryu’s cry for help. “So, the pup can’t finish this fight on his own. Very well.” Gouki clenched his fists, held them at his sides and arched his back. Hundreds of crimson red circles escaped his body at amazing speed, able to travel hundreds of miles in Ryu’s direction very quickly. Of course no one at the Airport was trained at such a high level of Martial Arts to be able to witness this, to them it just looked like Gouki was stretching. “Okay sir, your flight leaves in… um… excuse me sir?”
All of this energy was flowing into Ryu just about the same time a lot of energy was flowing into Apocalypse. Finally Apocalypse finished absorbing energy as he fell to the ground. His body was now solid. As he stood on one knee and was looking down, his body was glowing, each portion of his body was glowing it’s respectibe color. Smoke seemed to pour out of his newly reformed body. He suddenly had a very serious expression on his face. His accension was almost at hand. Magneto still not facing Ryu began to speak.
“When I was a young boy my entire family was slaughtered by Nazis in a Concentration Camp at Auschwitz during World War II. I swore to myself, never again. With the Mutant Registration Act in America, the Government’s rise in Sentinel manufacturing, and the brutal conditions Mutants had to endure in Genosha I will not sit back and let the events of World War II repeat themself. When Apocalypse awakens, he will have the power to take over the World and we Mutants will assume our rightfull place as Gods among men who will inherit the Earth. Any humans that oppose us shall meet a terrible end.”
“No… you are wrong.”
Magneto was shocked that Ryu was able to talk. He turned around and saw Ryu’s Hadou Energy around his body like Lightning Bolts just like before as he was forming a white orb in his hands. “This… is impossible… how is a Flatscan able to negate my powers?”
“Just how will you punish the Humans that oppose you? Fear? Imprisonement? Intimidation? Death? These are the same tactics used by the Nazis. Can’t you see that you have become what you have most feared?”
Ryu began to walk slowly with the white Fireball in his hands. He was walking forward towards Magneto’s right. “SILENCE! YOU KNOW NOTHING! YOUR LIFE ENDS NOW! MAGNETIC SHOCKWAVE!” Once again Magneto performed this deadly Super Art. However it had no effect of Ryu for he had his own Ki Force Field erected, much like Magneto’s Force Field only a white sphere of energy! The columns of energy Magneto sent towards Ryu dispersed when the struck his Force Field! All the while Ryu still continued towards Magneto’s right. Soon his Ki Force Field dissapeared.
“THIS… IS IMPOSSIBLE… YOU ARE JUST A LOWLY HUMAN! DIE!”
The Master of Magnetism flew up in the air and performed his Magnetic Blast Move. As Magnus crossed his hands two waves of Magnetic energy went flying down diagonally towards Ryu’s direction.
“I will not be able to block his attack again. No choice.” Ryu contemplated to himself. He leaped up high in the air until he was facing Magneto about 15 feet away from him. “SHINKUU HADOUKEN!” he yelled as he fired this huge blast of Energy at Magneto! Magneto countered the attack with his “E-M DISRUPTOR!” Both attacks met each other in the middle pushing against each other, Magneto’s E-M Disruptor was pushing Ryu’s Shinkuu Hadouken back. “No… I’ll have to use all of the energy given to me by others just to win this fight! HYYYAAAAAAAAH!” screamed Ryu as the power of his Shinkuu Hadouken intensified, beating back Magneto’s E-M Disruptor! Just before it struck Magneto the Mutant put up his Force Field to stop the attack. His Force Field held on for a little while keeping Magneto unharmed but soon it was destroyed and Magneto felt the full blast of the Shinkuu Hadouken! When the blast destroyed Magneto’s Force Field it caused a huge explosion blinding everything in a white light! Magneto’s helmet went flying off as about ninety percent of his outfit was destroyed revealing his well defined body. Blood began to shoot out of Magneto like a fountain in seven random parts of his body! “NOOOOOOOOOO!” yelled Magnus as he went flying over where Apocalypse was kneeling and fell right into that White Orb that was floating underneath Apocalypse just before that he used to teleport himself here to this lair! Without Apocalypse’s mind to control the White Orb, who knows what became of Magneto or if he even survived! Ryu won the fight!
Ryu fell to the ground after this attack breathing heavily. He was exhausted. Cyclops finally had the strength to stand up. He put his Ruby Quartz Visor on top of his glasses.
“Ryu… are you alright?” “I… thank you and all of the other X-Men and Street Fighters… even Gouki for his help… Magneto… I did not mean too…” “…We X-Men do not kill. But it’s understood. Your life was on the line.” “No, you do not understand. The moment I saw him and felt his Dark Aura, the Shinkuu Hadouken was intended for Apocalypse.”
“I gather my Ki from Nature itself. When I was absorbing energy for the blast from the rain forest, never have I recieved so much energy. Even mother nature opposes Apocalypse’s rebirth. His very existence represents the end to everything on this Earth. When I was just about ready to fire the Shinkuu Hadouken, I began to move towards Magneto’s side so I could strike Apocalypse and destroy him. But Magneto would not allow it, he would of killed me before I was ready to fire the blast. Even when I fired my Shinkuu Hadouken at Magneto I tried to reserve as much energy as I could to destroy Apocalypse, but I had to use all of it to defeat Magneto and that was not my intention. He said it himself, he could of killed me at anytime during the fight but he respected me on some level, allowing me to witness Apocalypse’s rebirth. I still feel there was good inside of Magneto. However, I no longer feel his Ki. I am sorry.”
“…You have no reason to apologize to me. Even though our credo is that we X-Men do not kill, Vega…” “Don’t trouble yourself over it. I felt his Ki out there when I was gathering energy. I can not explain this but I have this gut feeling that we have not seen the last of Vega.” Cyclops himself did not believe that Vega could of survived that devastating blast but now wasn’t the time for that discussion. “Looks like we have one more opponent to face until we are home free.” Cyclops held out his hand to help Ryu up. Ryu grabbed Cyclops’ hand and rose. "Yes, one more opponent. And no matter what happens we can not afford to loose. "
Apocalypse stood tall as his body finally stopped glowing. He began to laugh as he looked at our heroes. The tale of X-Men vs. Street Fighter was coming to it’s dramatic ending.

Chapter 16 - “War of the X-Men and Street Fighter Worlds!”
Wolverine and Ken entered the room where Ryu and Cyclops stood. On site the two looked to be in worse condition than Ryu and Cyclops, Ken’s top was shredded off from his battle with Sabretooth. His black belt and red pants still remained. Portions of Wolverine’s top were also gone in his fight with Gouki but he still retained his mask.
There was a small explosion on the side of the room that Cyclops blasted a hole in; one of the wrecked computers caught on fire. From the explosion a CD that was broken in half went flying out and bounced a few times until it landed in front of Wolverine. The CD bounced about a bit more in front of him like a coin dropped on the floor. When it stood still Logan could make out the word “WEAPO” and half of an “X” beneath it, but the disk was scratched up badly and burned in a few areas. He knew this was the disk that Gouki was talking about that contained information on his past, but now it was destroyed. “Figures.” said the feral Mutant as he stepped on the disk and crushed what was left of it.
Upon hearing Wolverine’s voice Ryu and Cyclops turned to face them, fixing their eyes off of Apocalypse for now.
“KEN!” said Ryu in content as did Cyclops as he yelled “WOLVERINE! You guys made it!” “Yeah, we made it. For once Ryu your gi looks better than mine!” “We can catch up later Ken. Our final advesary stands before us.” “Ya got that right bub. But if I have anything to say about it he won’t be standin’ for long!”
Our four heroes entered the final background stage of X-Men vs. Street Fighter. As mentioned earlier they could spot many Mutants and Street Fighters, the ones that were closest to them were Psylocke and Dan who both banged on glass cylinders because they wanted out. They could also see the rest of the X-Men that were captured in the first chapter along with Guile, Rose, Sakura and including a few Morlocks. Shuma-Gorath’s capsule was hard to spot from their perspective, it was in front of Blanka’s capsule and behind Iceman’s, further back in the middle. Jubilee’s capsule was hard to spot too, it was in front of Beast’s and right behind Forge’s. Most important to Cyclops was Professor X and Jean Grey’s capsules that were off in the distance. But there wasn’t too much time for gazing as they all had to focus their attention on the nine foot tall Apocalypse, one of the most powerful Mutants in the world.
“I AM THE APOCALYPSE!” were the first words uttered by the Mutant who’s real name is En Sabah Nur. “Your reign of madness ends here!” declared Cyclops. “HA! HA! You fool! I am the first Mutant born to this world and have lived for centuries awaiting this day to come. The age of man is at an end. Their greatest acheivement, having walked on the Moon pails in comparison to the power we Mutants possess. Within a few more life cycles Homo Inferior will cease to exist and we Mutants, Homo Superior will be the dominant species. It is the natural order of evolution. Only the strongest shall survive!” “Your wrong!” Ryu strongly disagreed. “Even in nature a wounded bear will protect his cubs! It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak! A war between the two will only create more enemies opposing you and lead to more bloodshed in an everlasting cycle!” “An ocean of blood is what I shall deliver to Earth! The nail that stands up against Apocalypse will get hammered down with a vengeance! For after having absorbed the Mutant Energy and Ki of many Mutants and Street Fighters I am more powerful than ever!”
“Enough! The ‘many Mutants and Street Fighters’ will all join us in battle and put you out of your misery once and for all!” stated Cyclops as he fired an Optic Blast at Jean Grey’s capsule holding her prisoner in the distance to Cyke’s far right. The shot bounced off of it not harming the glass, bounced over to a few capsules on the for left, continued to riccochet until it fased out.
“It is useless to try to free your comrads. My… let’s call it ‘my partner’ is keeping them at bay by using an invisible forcefield, even your friends’ powers fail to penetrate the field.” By ‘my partner,’ Apocalypse was refferring to the huge white orb that floated many feet below them within the gapping hole behind him. “All they are good for is for me too feed off their energy. The strong shall feed on the carcasses of the weak!”
“Blah, blah, blah, when do we get to kick your butt?” “Do not rush to meet your maker Ken Masters. Recently I have been impressed with the power you Street Fighters possess. Never in any age have Human beings proven to be as strong as yourselves. You Street Fighters are the last hope for Humankind but you will be far outnumbered by the thousands of Mutants on this World, soon to be millions. Still, it is not too late for you to join me. The four of you can become my new Four Horseman of Apocalypse!”
“No he did not just ask us to become the Four Horseman of Apocalypse! That does it bub! I’m takin’ you down peice by peice!” Wolverine popped his six claws in anger. “Yes child of the Atom. We shall see who is right by the outcome of this fight!” “For someone who’s supposed to have a high intellect your a flamin’ idiot! A scrap doesn’t decide who’s right or wrong!” “And I’d expect someone who has fought in as many wars as you have to know better. History always declares the winner of any war ‘good’ and the loser ‘evil.’ Today’s battle shall be no different. The strong is just. The weak is dust!”
“Even so, a world where the strong survive and the weak die can only end in massive death and destruction. We X-Men shall oppose such a world and fight for Xavier’s dream, Humans and Mutants living together in harmony!” pronounced Cyclops. “You preach that your philosophy is the natural order of things. But as one who draws Ki from the Earth I can tell you that nature itself is against your very existence!” added Ryu.
“HEEEEYAAAAH!” screamed Ryu as he dashed towards Apocalypse beginning this epic battle! The Street Fighter landed a series of punches and kicks but it had zero effect, it was the equivalent of punching a wall. “HA! HA! HA! Is this the power of nature you speak of?” Still facing En Sabah Nur Ryu leaped backwards about six feet and yelled “HADOUKEN!” as he fired his famous projectile. “Game is over!” stated Apocalypse. The Mutant with full control of his molecules formed his hand into a futuristic looking laser canon and fired an orange beam of energy from it that went through the Hadouken and struck Ryu! Ryu screeched in agony as this attack was worse than anything he endured in his fight with Magneto!
Next Ken leaped at the Mutant and tried to spin kick him in the head. Apocalypse was now able to make his molecules unstable and return to the ghost like state he was in before, a new power he had gained for he never had this much mastery over his own molecules! Ken’s foot went right through Apocalypse’s head! Of course Apocalypse didn’t really need to fase himself for Ken’s kick since it wouldn’t of done any damage, but he was toying with his opponents like a cat playing with a mouse. As Apocalypse became solid and laughed Ken tried to punch him in the stomach, but Apocalypse just created a huge hole in the middle of his body so Ken could see through him! As Ken staired all around the hole were eight blue spikes the same color as Apocalypse’s body. The hole and the spikes look kind of like Chun-Li’s bracelet only the spikes were inverted. All of the eight spikes began to stretch as they were about to cleave Ken’s forearm still in his body but Ken pulled it out just in time! The centuries old Mutant transformed his left arm into a huge futuristic looking battering ram and with this he uppercutted Ken who went soaring away!
Then Wolverine came at him trying to slice him up with his claws. Apocalypse once again made his molecules unstable as Wolverine passed right through him. “AAAH!” said Apocalypse as he did seem to feel a bit of discomfort for some reason. He made himself solid and the fingers on his right hand grew to become one foot large claws. The top portion of his body from the waist up did a 360, spun around to cut Wolverine’s back taking him down!
Now Cyclops fired an Optic Blast at the Villain, but Apocalypse fired two light blue beams from his own eyes which beat Cyclop’s projectile back and electricuted the leader of the X-Men!
Ryu rose and tried to strike Apocalypse with his Satoshi Wari punch, but before he could even connect Apocalypse kicked Ryu about twenty feet straight up into the air as if he was a soccer ball! And who was waiting for Ryu when he has that high up in the air? Why, Apocalypse because he had telepoted himself to be afloat at Ryu’s level! He kicked Ryu again as he flew another ten feet at a 10:00 angle! Apocalypse teleported above him yet again and folded his hands together as he slammed Ryu hard down to the ground as he hit the floor at thirty feet with such an impact he bounced five feet up in the air breaking a circular area where he landed on the rocky floor!
Ryu was lying there seemingly dead as Apocalypse still with his hands folded together formed both of them into a huge mallet. He wasn’t lying when he said the nail that stands up before Apocalypse would get hammered down with a vengeance because this is exactly what was going to happen to Ryu! “TORNADO CLAW!” yelled Wolverine as his clawed uppercut cut the mallet as it was fifteen feet above Ryu about to pound him to chop liver. Wolverine cracked the mallet as it crumbled and then seemed to fade away like dust. This left to big holes in En Sabah Nur’s arms where his hands would normally appear. From these two holes he blasted Logan with two beams of orange engergy! After blasting the Canadian Mutant Apocalypse reformed his hands.
While Apocalypse was still in the air Cyclops leaped up and performed his Aerial High Kick, which is like Guile’s sommersault only both of his feet are used. Apocalypse was forced back, but not because the attack did any damage but just because he was midair. When Cyclops finished spinning counter clockwise as he does when he performs this sommersault while he was still in the air he quickly fired ten Optic Blasts around the room. The beams riccocheted multiple times never striking Ryu, Ken, or Wolverine. When the beams stopped bouncing off of everything they all came at Apocalypse, for Cyclops was quite the genious at quickly figuring out the path of his beams! But he wasn’t as smart as the world’s oldest Mutant because Apocalypse created holes in his body exactly where the beams would strike him as all of the Optic Blasts went right through them! While they were still facing each other in the air as this only took a matter of seconds, two rectangular holes opened up on Apocalypse’s shoulders (just like the game) and they fired two orange orbs of energy, which then split into many small projectiles striking Cyclops down!
Apocalypse teleported to the center of the stage and was laughing his head off! It was evident to him that his opponents were no match for him!
As he was still chuckling our four badly beaten heroes gathered together. “Is everybody okay?” asked Cyclops. “As good as can be expected…” said Ken. “Good. I have a plan. It’s a one in a million shot but we don’t have any other options.”
Completely ignoring them Cyclops quickly told them his plan as Apocalypse continued to laugh. “You are not fit! You are not worthy!” And the next thing this megalomaniac Mutant saw was Ryu and Ken charging at him. The difference this time was that white Ki that looked like electricity was circling around Ryu’s body and red flames that took on the appearance of electricity were circling around Ken’s body! They were coming at Apocalypse full force! Ryu attacked on Apocalypse’s right while Ken attacked on his left. With extremely quick movements Apocalypse blocked all of Ryu’s punches and kicks with his right arm and all of Ken’s attacks with his left. “You pathetic humans are no match for the Apocalypse!” “WOLVERINE! NOW!” ordered Cyclops. Ryu and Ken leaped away far back. Unbeknownst to Apocalypse Wolverine managed to sneak behind him when he was being distracted. “BERSERKER BARRAGE!” he yelled as he clawed his way through Apocalypse, and once again Apocalypse made his molecules unstable so he could pass right through him. “OH!” he said as once again he felf a bit of discomfort, and this time parts of his body became solid. Wolverine leaped out of the way as Cyclops performed his Mega “OPTIC BLAST!” Super Art! The attack hit Apocalypse’s entire body, first striking the solid parts and soon his entire body became solid feeling the full fury of the attack! He yelled out in pain as the attack caused a huge explosion! Apocalypse was apparently blown to smithereens!
“It’s over.” declared Cyclops. “I… don’t understand. How did you know your plan would work?” Ryu wanted to know. “Simple. The first time Wolverine passed through Apocalypse’s body he felt pain. There was a Mutant on our team called Kitty Pride who could also make her molecules unstable. Whenever Wolverine’s Adamantium claws phased through her body she also felt discomfort for some unknown reason. I figured with you two distracting Apocalypse Wolverine could sneak up behind him and attack him with his Berserker Barrage, and such a vicous attack would weaken him long enough for my Optic Blast to finish the job.” “Still Cyke, it was a one in a million shot just like you said. With all of the things Apocalypse could do with his body who knows how this might of turned out.” added Wolverine. “I guess in the end, we were just lucky.” said Ken. “Now lets work on setting our friends free.” uttered the leader of the X-Men.
“HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!” laughed Apocalypse as he rose out of the huge hole in the stage and grew to a giant just like he does in the game! He caught everyone by surprise as he his first act was to slam his gigantic fist into Cyclops’ back! Cyclops layed on the ground in a pool of his own blood as his right arm and left leg were bent in the wrong directions for two of his limbs were broken! Next the two satellites he has in the game came floating above both of his arms and two rectangles opened in his shoulders yet again. The satellite above his right shoulder fired a light blue beam to the one above his left and this beam came at both Ryu and Ken while a huge amount of orange orbs from his shoulders came at the two Ansatsuken warriors simoultaneously! This caused a big explosion and afterwards a big cloud of smoke! The smoke began to peel back a bit and the area where Ryu and Ken were standing revealed nothing as if they’ve been desintegrated! Apocalypse didn’t forget about Wolverine as his right arm became a huge drill which slammed against against Wolverine’s stomach creating a big hole and rammed him against the wall! Logan fell down to the ground bleeding to death! Apocalypse appeared to be victorious as he laughed and said “YOU ARE ALL WEAK! YOUR DEMISE WAS INEVITABLE! YOU ARE NOT FIT TO SURVIVE! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!”
Some of the smoke began to peel back and even though the attack created a huger crater like hole Ryu and Ken were still alive! Ryu had created his circular Ki Forcefield that he learned while fighting Magneto which shielded them from the attack, it just forced them back a bit! The huge white sphere surrounding the two had waves af red energy glowing around it as well as Ken was also using his Ki to power up the sphere! Both of them assumed the stance Ken used in the SF2 Animated movie to heal himself and Ryu used the same stance in the movie before he did the Shoryuken off the cliff. They were back to back in the sphere, with Ryu in front and Ken behind. “Heh. I see you learned a new move Ryu!” “You’ve gotten much stronger as well. I never could of repelled the attack without you’re help.” “Yeah, after my match with Sabretooth I learned how to use even more Ki. Ryu, our rematch is going to be amazing! But for now let’s go stop this monster!”
Ryu and Ken powered down the Forcefield and started running straight to Apocalypse. En Sabah Nur was shocked that they managed to survived. “YOU FOOLS! YOUR LIFE IS MINE!” His shoulders open up again as he fired a barrage of orange orbs at the two Street Fighters, and the satellites continued to move around and and bounce light blue beams at each other firing it at them. Almost Ninja like Ryu and Ken managed to dodge every single attack via front flips, back flips, moving out of the way at the right times and arching their backs or ducking at the right moment while still moving forward! Apocalypse slammed his fist on the ground creating a shockwave that went straight at Ryu, but he leaped over it and kicked the Mutant’s fist and then performed his Super Art, the “SHINKUU TATSUMAKI SENPUKYAKU!” striking the huge fist seven times! The attack cracked his fist into pieces and the cracks went up Apocalpse’s arm as he yelled in pain! Next he lifted up his fist and turned it into an iron ball with spikes and was about to crush Ryu with it, but a few feet before Ryu an Optic Blast hit the ground and riccocheted until it went up and destroyed the iron ball, for Cyclops had managed to wake up and fire a blast! Apocalypse was in pain but that wasn’t the end of his troubles.
Ken had caught up to Ryu and attacked the Evil Mutant with his “SHORYU REPPA!” hitting him in the face many times with this powerful uppercut Super Art! Apocalypse’s face was cracked in many areas and parts of his body were on fire as Ken continued to rise up from the last blow of his Shoryu Reppa and with the same attack he destroyed a satellite that was currently above Apocalypse’s head! However, the second satellite was out of range and it moved closer to Ken to fire a laser at midair Ken. It looked like he was done for.
But Wolverine jumped up and intercepted the laser attack! As the blast electricuted him he gnarled like a beast and he stuck his claws on either side making the satellite fall into the huge hole Apocalypse was floating in! “WOLVERIIIINE!” yelled Ken as all he heard was a big explosion. Wolverine had just saved Ken’s life, with what might of been his own. But our heroes were not even allowed time to morn against such a strong opponent.
Ryu and Ken leaped back to where Cyclops was, Ryu to his right and Ken to his left. Even with a broken arm and a broken leg Cyclops still managed to stand up on one foot. Ryu and Ken began to charge their Hadouken attack. The white and firey red electricity like Ki flowed to Cyclop’s eyes as Red Energy flowed out of his visor and it seemed like all three were charging up the same attack! “Cyclops! We have to combine our attacks to finish this now!” informed Ryu to which Cyclops agreed “Right!”
Ryu and Ken yelled “SHINKUU HADOUKEN!” and Cyclops yelled “OPTIC BLAST!” as all of their powers combined creating a gigantic pink projectile attack, by video game standards it would take up the entire screen! Apocalypse was not to be outdone as he grew even bigger! He attacked the projectile with his Drill Arm that was now the same size as the projectile attack! The two opposing forces were at a stand off with neither gaining ground!
Wolverine managed to claw his way up and scale the wall. He still had a hole in his stomach and parts of his body were burned off. Not able to stand up he dragged himself behind the trio by digging into the ground with his claws and moving his body forward. “C’mon Cyke! The fate of the world is at stake! No holdin’ back Slim!”
Wolverine retracted his claws and flipped over Cyclops. As soon as his hands went before Scott Summers’ eyes his flesh was instantly burned off. While the three were still firing the projectile in one motion Wolverine removed Cyclops’ visor and his glasses underneath also fell off! He did this because he knows that the power of Cyclop’s Optic Blasts are reduced by Ruby Quartz visors and with out them they are more powerful and much more lethal! As Wolverine finished the front flip he himself was inside the massive projectile attack! With most of his flesh getting burned off he ejected his claws and performed his Drill Claw move! The flames of Wolverine’s Ki spiralled around inside the profectile as he went on to destroy Apocalypse’s Drill hand! 'NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" screamed En Sabah Nur! Wolverine continued to growl like an animal loudly as he and the combined Shinkuu Hadouken and Optic Blast attack destroyed Apocalypse’s entire arm and the attack also caused his head and upper body to shatter like a porcelain doll being dropped on the floor!
After a bright light eclipsed everything Wolverine was nowhere in sight. Apocalypse reduced to his normal size was on the ground before the three heroes, almost seeming like he was melting away just like he appears in the game when defeated. Cyclops fired a few blasts randomly by accident until he closed his eyes. He fell to the ground to weak to stand up. Ryu and Ken both seemed sad. Even though they believed the fight to be over they did not want to win at the cost of Wolverine’s life.
But their beliefs were wrong as Apocalypse stood up again! His body was cracked in several areas yet he still managed to hover in the air as electricity in all of the many colors of the rainbow came out of his body and began electricuting the trio! Ryu and Ken instantly fell to the ground as the gutt wrenching screams from our heroes was the stuff of nightmares!
“HA! HA! HA! YOU MAY HAVE WEAKENED ME BUT I STILL HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO DESTROY YOU! AS SOON AS I REST AND RECHARGE MYSELF I WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!”
About fifty feet above Apocalypse was a high observation room with large glass windows. With no regard for his personal safety Nash went crashing through the window, and began spinning around firing multiple Sonic Boom Projectiles at Apocalypse! Normally these attacks would have no effect on the ages old Mutant but in his weakened state the attacks were doing heavy damage! This caused the hovering villain to fall back a bit as his attack on Ryu, Ken and Cyclops stopped! Pieces of his body were breaking off as energy seemed to flow out of him like it was being set free. As soon as he got close enough Nash performed his Aerial Moonsault Slash attack almost cutting Apocalypse in half! There was no ground beneath either at this point and Apocalypse was still hovering for the most part. While Nash’s body fell on top of the left side of Aocalypse’s body he quickly wrapped his right arm around the back of the villain’s neck with his hand in his face. Now both began to fall as Nash was dragging his enemy with him in the huge hole in the stage! “NOOO! THIS CAN NOT BE! APOCALYPSE CAN NOT BE DEFEATED BY A HUMAN!” “Hmph. And I thought I wasn’t going to fight a Mutant on this adventure!” With his hand still around Apocalypse’s face Nash snapped his neck and even more electricity began to flow out of a crack in his neck, electricuting both! “NOOOO!” screamed En Sabah Nur yet again. Nash was being electricuted to death but all he did was close his eyes and smile. Witnessing all of this Guile banged on glass of the capsule he was trapped in and yelled “NASH! NAAAAASH!” for he was watching his best friend die and he couldn’t do anything about it, his screams couldn’t even be heard outside of the capsule. The two continued to fall as they went inside the huge white orb that was beneath Apocalypse the entire time. White Electricity started to flow everywhere as soon as they entered as if it was out of control! When they electricity died down the huge orb turned out to be the gigantic Abyss Orb seen at the end of MVC2 when you beat the game! Next the orb seemed to implode as it disappeared! Apocalypse is gone! Our heroes have won this day!

Chapter 17 - “After The Apocalypse’s Laughter!”
With the White Orb gone so was the Forcefield holding the prisoners inside of their capsules. The capsules began to all fall down and the glass shattered. The capsule that fell the furthest was Shuma-Gorath’s. As soon as he was free he stuck himself on the cave like wall and camoflouged with his surroundings. Shuma-Gorath could of escaped whenever he wanted to but was waiting for the right time to make his move. None of the telepathic Mutants were able to detect his presence either for Shuma-Gorath was a very powerful God in his own right.
For everyone else as soon as the glasses shattered they were able to use their powers. Jean Grey used her Telekenitic powers to keep the glass from cutting everybody up and keep everyone afloat. Archangel managed to fly and Iceman created an Ice Slide as usual.
“SCOTT!” Jean yelled out to Cyclops. “JEAN! IS EVERYONE SAFE?” THE PROFESSOR…" Cyclops still had his eyes closed because if he was to open them his Optic Blasts would go out of control. Charles Xavier answered, “We are all alive and well, but our number one concern right now is making sure Wolverine pulls through!” Both Ken and Ryu slowly stood up. “WOLVERINE! He’s still alive?” Inquired Ken Masters. “Barely. Me and Jean Grey doing all that we can to keep his mind in tact. My powers were once drained by Apocalypse but with his destruction it seems like our powers are returning to their fullest. But we can still use some assistance.” “C’mon everybody! Wolverine can take on anything with a little help!” urged Jubilee. “Hmmm. Sounds like fun.” said Rose who helped out using her powers. “Can anyone join this party?” Psylocke quipped as she aided as well. From the high observation tower that Nash broke out of Darkstar used her power to lower herself, Zangief, Rogue, Gambit still in Rogue’s arms, Vazhin and Garnoff, and Garnoff helped keep Wolverine’s mind in tact as well.
Wolverine was on the far side of the wall that he landed on after he plowed through Apocalypse. His left claw stuck to the wall and that was all that was keeping him from falling to his death. Smoke poured out of every area of his body as most of his flesh was peeled off. His Healing Factor was keeping him alive but who knew for how long.
“Take me to him. Apocalypse trapped me here forcing me to heal the wounds of captured Mutants before I was imprisoned as well. I can help Wolverine .” Said the Mutant Healer. Healer was an old bearded man and one of the Morlocks. The Morlocks were Mutants that lived beneath the sewers of Manhattan in an effort to escape Mankind. Other Morlocks present were Tommy, Scaleface, Ape, Artie, and Beautiful Dreamer. “Yes, do take Healer to Wolverine. He did wonders for my gunshot wound!” added Psylocke. “Express ride to the ol’ Canuckle head coming up!” Said Iceman as he pulled his Ice Slide to Healer, grabbed him and took him to Logan. As Healer touched Wolverine’s body his flesh started to regenerate.
“I believe the worst is over. Wolverine is going to pull through!” announced Professor X. “Thank goodness!” Said Jean. Next she flew over to Cyclops and used her powers to lift him up and make him stand. “Jean… I…” “Shhh.” hushed Jean Grey as she used her powers to force Cyclops’ eyes wide open! But nothing happened as she looked into his blue eyes. “JEAN… HOW…” “We share a Psychic Rapport remember? I can tell your mind is troubled with some nonsense about blasting me in my sleep told to you by this Vega character. My powers are still growing, I can now hold back you blasts for a little while. And with our Psychic Rapport I’ll be alerted moments before anything happens. Let me tell you, killing me in bed is impossible, unless it’s of shear ecstacy!” Scott smiled at the joke and there were tears in his eyes. “Red… I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” “I do Scott. I do.” And the two started to kiss. People watching this event either said “Awwwe…” “Woot woot!” “Gag me!” “Get a room!” and things of that nature while others clapped. As they were kissing Jean used her telepathic powers to put his Ruby Quartz Visor back on.
Wolverine’s flesh was coming together along nicely, Healer’s powers were being aided by his Healing Factor. Still stuck to the wall for the danger of moving him (Iceman’s Ice slide was below his feet just in case) he turned around and saw Cyclops kissing Jean Grey. He let out a snarl as part of him will always be in love with Jean.
“This is romantic and all, but how long are we gong to stay floating around here? KEN! I haven’t forgotten about our rematch! If you guys would of freed me in time I would of stopped Apocalypse with my Gadouken!” boasted Dan and Ken just smiled. “Love, you were crying the entire time.” Psylocke bursted his bubble. Now that Wolverine was doing fine the Psychics weren’t needed to keep him from ‘walking into the bright light’ as they say. “Crying? Those were tears of excitement!” Archangel flew by them and said “Is that why your pants are soiled?” Everyone began laughing at Dan. “WHAT! That’s just sweat is all! All of you shut your traps! The great Dan Hibiki of the Saikyo Dojo will defeat you all at the same time! OYAJIIIIIIII!” He continued to rant and no one was listening to him at this point. His friend Blanka tried to help out Dan by saying “Aroo! Aroo! Aroo!” but that didn’t help much… “Miss me pretty lady?” Archangel asked his girlfriend Psylocke. “Just a smidge.” And they started to make out as well.
“HEY! RYU SENSEI!” “SAKURA!” “You did great out there! You tried to ditch me in Japan but it’s no use! I will be your pupil forever!” Ryu sighed but smiled at the same time.
Zangief walked over to the hole to see where Nash disappeared. “I took all of us to the observation tower as it was the closest path for us to take to get here in time. I figured Darkstar would just be able to float us down. But Nash ran ahead of us, he must of quickly assessed the situation and charged in, knowing it was the only shot they had at taking out Apocalypse, even at the cost of his life. You were a brave soldier Nash, I salute you.” Everyone in the room took a brief moment to salute Nash, for they knew that they would not have suvived in the end if it wasn’t for his sacrifice. Guile still floating in the air was in tears but he still managed to salute Nash with a trembling hand. All though he was a wreck Zangief’s words gave him small comfort.
Storm came into the room where Ryu, Cyclops, Magneto and Vega fought. Still carrying Dhalsim, helping him walk. She noticed Forge floating off in the distance. “FORGE!” “It’s okay Storm. Go to him. I’ll be fine.” “Thank you, Dhalsim!” She kissed Dhalsim on the cheek and layed him against the wall so he wouldn’t fall. She flew to Forge and the two embraced lovingly.
Lastly Chun-Li finally entered the room. “RYU! KEN!” “Chun-Li!” greeted Ryu. “Apocalypse has been defeated! Somehow, someway, the X-Men and the Street Fighters have managed to work together and accomplish the impossible. May the bonds and friendships between Man and Mutants created today last a lifeti… OOF! KEN!” Ryu’s speech was cut short as Ken elbowed him in the stomach. Smiling he said, “Everyone else is getting some lip action and you’re here being all melodramatic. For once shut the Hell up and let the lady give us a hug!” “You guys!” belted a teary eyed Chun-Li as she ran and hugged both of them simoultaneously.

EPILOGUE
Healer was seen touching Dhalsim where Storm left him as he began to cure his ills as well. When he was done Dhalsim said “Thank you.” and the Healer bowed and walked away. Dhalsim continued to look at Storm and Forge make out. They where the last two left in the area where Apocalypse had fought before, everyone else had left after Healer had fixed up their wounds. Dhalsim smiled at the two together feeling they belonged together. Next he made he turned around to make his way out of the temple himself.
Storm was imagining that she was kissing Dhalsim, but when she pulled away she realized it was Forge obviously. Forge asked, “Storm. You still haven’t answered my proposal. Will you marry me?” “I… still need time to think about it Forge…” " I see." As they were talking Shuma-Gorath about the size of a mountain finally rose from the gapping hole in the stage. It was time for him attempt to take over the Planet Earth.
Wolverine was with Beast in the high observation tower where Nash had busted out from earlier. Beast was sitting down using the computer in that area. “Wolverine, I couldn’t find anything in the Computers downstairs about your past but perhaps I’ll find something here. I find it hard to believe that this “Weapon X” Disc has not been backed up somewhere.” “Alls I know is that Gouki called me James and he mentioned somethin’ about a Weapon Plus Program.” The door to the room slid open and Ken Masters walked in. “Hey, I was looking for you and that bald guy in the wheel chair said you were up here. In all the commotion I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” “Yeah, I managed to pull out of this scrap alright some how.” “Wow, you really put your life on the line to win this fight. I respect that. Say, what are you guys doing up here anyway?” “Oh, Mr. Masters, allow me to introduce myself, they call me Beast. Some of the work your father’s organization the Masters Foundation has done in the name of science is nothing short of amazing. I am simply trying to access any information on Apocalypse’s Databases but everything seems to be encrypted.” “Ken’s okay Beast. You don’t have to sugar coat it. He’s also tryin’ to see if he can dig up anything about my past. From a certain point in my life I don’t remember much.” Ken walked closer to the two as he took a keen interest in the situation. “Hmmm. Perhaps the Masters Foundation will be able to help out. We have connections all around the world.” “Thanks rookie, this ol’ canuckle head appreciates it!” “Hmph. Muties! Ha! Ha! Ha!” Wolverine smiled and Beast being able to tell that Ken’s comment was light hearted was able to grin at Ken’s words.
Chun-Li found a remote corner in the temple and was crying. She had a forearm over her eyes and was leaning against a wall with the same forearm. She was told of all of the events that had occured, the apparent deaths of Vega and of Nash. It was also the first time she had a chance to be alone and cry about her father’s death. “Father… Nash… even if Vega is indeed dead I will not rest until all of Shadowloo is destroyed.”
Outside Rogue was sitting on the huge steps of the temple looking rather sad, feeling depressed about absorbing all of Killer Bee’s memories, being brainwashed and absorbing Gambit’s mind as well. Gambit sat next to her and put his arm on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and leaned against Gambit. The two seemed very happy, for now it was enough.
Outside Garnoff spoke to Zangief. "Me and the other Telepathic Mutants have mentally shut down the rest of the scientists and soldiers inside the fortress. The rest of my team along with some of the X-Men are rounding everyone up now. “I see. Did you happen to come across a Mutant named Birdy?” “No comrad, but as you said she is a Telepathic Mutant as well, she can shield her thoughts from us if she wishes. She probably ran away some time ago.” “And Sabretooth?” “He is gone as well.” “I… understand. I hope Birdy will be able to escape his clutches.”
Birdy was running deep in the Amazon Jungle. She thought to herself, “I’m sorry Zangief but I had to make a run for it while the gettin’s good!” Sabretooth snuck up behind her, touched her right shoulder with his right hand and gave her a left punch in the stomach knocking her out! “YA STOOPID BITCH! YOU’LL NEVER GET RID OF ME SWEETHEART! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!” He continued to laugh as he put Birdy over his shoulder, turned around and walked deep into of the jungle.
Also deep in the jungle Killer Bee was stumbling around and looked as if she had a headache. She rested on a huge boulder a few feet taller than her and said “Who… am I…” at the same exact time Juggernaut said the same exact thing! Juggernaut holding his helmet in one hand and his head in the other came waltzing clumsily behind her. With one punch he crushed a portion of the boulder that was above Killer Bee’s head. She looked at him curiously as Juggernaught stumbled in front of her continuing to make his way.
Three months later Nash woke up in a dark room. He was strapped to an operating table as if he was Frankenstien’s monster. “Huh? What is this? RELEASE ME NOW! LET ME OUT OF HEEEERE!” And he struggled to free himself but it was futile.
Back to the present, most of the people that were in the temple were outside talking about their experineces and catching up. Ryu walked up to the leader of the X-Men who was chatting to Jean Grey and asked, “Cyclops, may I have a word with you alone?” Cyclops gazed at him with a puzzled look.
The two walked in the jungle for about fifteen minutes without saying a word to each other. Then Ryu finally turned to face Scott Summers when he was about 12 feet away from him. “How are your injuries Cyclops?” “Fine, I guess. Healer really did a good job. And yourself?” “I’m a hundred percent. That was quite an adventure we had back there. Only one problem.” “Problem?” Ryu assumed his Fighting Stance and smiled. “I’m not sure if we found out exactly who is stronger. The X-Men or the Street Fighters!” “Heh. I get it.” Cyclops smiled and also assumed his fighting stance too. “And don’t hold back Cyclops!” “Wouldn’t dream of it Ryu!” Cyclops performed his Mega Optic Blast Super Art and yelled “OPTIC BLAST” Ryu countered with his “SHINKUU HADOUKEN!” And the epic battle between the two friends was only just beginning!

For a time I know they wanted to do a Marvel vs. Capcom crossover but I’m not exactly sure what happened, Erik Ko just said that it wasn’t going to happen right now, he spoke with Marvel and said there are many factors involved with making a crossover. I still hope some type of Marvel vs. Capcom comic book crossover happens one day and it blows my Fic out of the water. At the very least we got this very cool drawing of X-Men vs. Street Fighter by Arnold Tsang, I hope they can cut through all of the red tape at some point and give us a comic book version one day!

Last but not least special thanks to late great Kao Megura. You see, I have the Japanese version of X-Men vs. Street Fighter on the Sega Saturn not being able to read Japanese myself and a lot of the move names and stuff I had to look up with some old Tips & Tricks magazines which I was doing about half way through this fic. During that time I came across and discovered how incredibly detailed and easy to read Kao Megura’s X-Men vs. Street Fighter Faq at Gamefaqs was to understand and reference and I’ve been using his faq (Along with a TON of gameplaying) to write this Fic ever since. So I dedicate this Fic to the late great Kao Megura even though I don’t think it can live up to his high standards of perfection. May he rest in peace and may his Faqs live on forever and inspire many others!
NEXT UP: Nothing! It’s over! But if my previous Fan Fic has taught me anything the rest of this thread will be filled with people posting terrible reviews and telling me to stop writing. Oh well, what can you do. Starting next month I will get back to writing Fighter X on a monthly basis. Once I wrap up the first arc of Fighter X a lot of the loose ends left here will continue Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter Fic but that’s going to have to take place next year, Spring/Summer at best. That story will be bigger than this one with a crap load of more fights! My ulitmate goal is to follow that with Marvel vs. Capcom one and go up to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 but I have a long road ahead and with all of the fights in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 that fic in itself is going to take forever, lol! Seeya!
