Saw it earlier today. Definitely the best X-Men film to me. Nothing that irked me off the top of my head like First Class’s little romance stuff with Mystique and Hank and making Mystique his adopted sister. Edit: Oh wait, no explanation for Kitty having time travel powers.
The use of Quicksilver was cool, but his outfit still looked stupid, same goes for the 70s sentinels. Blink’s powers is way more interesting on screen than Nightcrawler’s. Those assists.

I loved how they erased the events of X-Men 3 and The Wolverine. Was that supposed to be Apocalypse at the end credits because he looked way too skinny. I hope he becomes the jacked up giant when the movie comes out and can I finally get Jubilee’s useless ass in a movie please. I want to hear “It tickles”

Apocalypse was like 10 years old in that final clip. He isn’t exactly gonna be Brock Lesnar size at that age
from what i understood he was never in the place he was supposed to be for the adamantium bonding. he had bone claws implying he never got his ass stuck in canada. unless they imply mystique was involved in the whole process in this new time line.

their are a few sentials that are hella op, but eventually like puddies…become scrubs. my fave sentinels were the ones who could disguise themselves as humans.
Just came back from the theatre 30 minutes ago. This movie is now my favorite Marvel movie. Period.
The sense of dread at the beginning and whenever they showed the future, took me right back to the Terminator
future sequences. I was like goddamn.

Why didn’t sunspot and Iceman team up and beamed Sentinel together? Sent easily adapted to either beam and killed them respectively.
I got legitimately salty over storm’s death
Blink with that top tier assist, but it sucked how she couldn’t dodge every angle of sentinel’s attacks.
Why didn’t we get Wolverine insta-KOing Sentinels???
The death scenes were top notch, especially sunspot’s, warpath, and iceman.

I heard there’s a Gambit movie in the works… starring… Channing Tatum. Lol.
The thing is Halle is a bad storm but its not Halle’s fault. If they could at least get her LOOK right, and give her actual badass scenes instead of constantly having her cause thunderstorms she might actually be fucking cool.
But without Storm then that explosion wouldn’t have happened.
And the future sents were supposed to be nimrod tier.
