Who the fuck was arguing against me a couple of weeks ago (before the movie came out) that identical black leather costumes was the best shit ever to happen in X-Men???

Rebecca being mystique was the right choice (one of the few things they got right)
Not sure how I feel about taking away the sentinel fight don’t know if that would’ve REALLY been needed
But the justification for not including it sounds so dumb

I don’t know who Amber Heard is, but I highly suspect if she was Mystique instead of Jennifer Lawrence a LOT of Mystique related things would’ve worked out better.

And Jada Pinkett-Smith would’ve actually been a decent potential Storm I think.

Ms. Heard is currently divorcing Johnny Depp and trying to take half of his money because he was stupid enough to not sign a pre-nup, though it’s not like a pre-nup is a foolproof way to save men since the court system is heavily biased towards women. All I know is that she seems like a gold-digger, which seems reason enough to not hire her as evidenced by the problems that Jennifer Lawrence has caused; that said, I admittedly can’t say anything about Heard acting skills (or lack thereof)…beyond that she was able to fool Depp into thinking she loved him, which doesn’t exactly take a talent, just tits and a vagina.

Speaking of possible divas though, Jada Pinkett-Smith might have been an even worse Storm than Halle Berry was, and I say this as someone who doesn’t really like Halle Berry. All these years later, I still say that the best choice for Storm at the time among prominent black actresses would have likely been Angela Bassett. Oh well.

Just when I thought I was done w/ the X-Men movies, they had to have that tease at the end.

Didn’t enjoy Apocalypse much. They did a great job casting the young X-Men, but so much of the movie felt forced. Warren/Angel becoming Archangel is a movie all on it’s own. I see that as an arc that they have to earn through good storytelling and setup. With all they’ve messed up, Fox still hasn’t learned anything. They find excuses to force every character they can in every movie, regardless of what they do (or don’t) add to the narrative and the quality of performance.

Reading all this stuff about cut scenes/script changes has got me dissapointed.

The actress who played Jubilee got screwed over, as none of the scenes demonstrating her abilities made it into the final cut. That’s really shitty considering it’s her debut.
