X-men: Dark Phoenix: (June 7,2019)

The director did. Not sure about the actor.

So we re getting x-men 92

I wonder where the things will go after X-Men: Apocalypse, first off I don’t think they will kill off Apocalypse with this movie, I think he will be sealed or something, since there are still some stories in which he’s important so they could use him again.

With the casting of a new generation of actors for the classic X-Men (Cyclops, Storm, Jean), I think they’re planning ahead, they’re probably going to mutli-contract those actors to develop a new trilogy or saga that will tell everything about them until before the “happy future” we saw in the end of DoFP.

If they were to use the rest of the most famous X-Men stories, the thing would probably will go like this:

WOLVERINE 3 will be Wolverine: Omega. The enemy would be Omega Red.

A series of prequels featuring the new actors; probably they should recast Jackman with a different actor.
- MOJOVERSE. A Hunger Games-like story could be used, the story doesn’t have to have a great and epic story, only one mission of the X-Men so we can learn more about the characters and see them work as a team. Spiral included.
**- SAVAGE LAND. **The X-Men visit Savage Land, that secret island ruled by Mr. Sinister, I’d like to see Wolverine fighting dinosaurs. Sinister is closely related to Cyclops and his family, so, it’s a good way to give Scott more protagonism. Cable could be foreseen.
**- GENOSHA. **After kicking Sinister’s butt, Magneto takes over his island and creates a “Mutant Paradise”. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch could become like the prince and princess of this reign, X-Men visit to check out and learn things are not what it seems…
**- ASTEROID M. **After losing Genosha, Magneto creates his orbital station in space, but he’s menaced by United Nations, you know, just like the comics. The fact they’re taking things to space, could be used to introduce the “cosmic energy” in form of Phoenix…
**- PHOENIX SAGA (TWO PARTS). **The Starjammers, including Havok and Polaris (Magneto’s lost daughter) rescue the X-Men from an almost certain death on the now destroyed Asteroid M. They learn there are aliens like the Shi’Ar Empire, they need to use the Phoenix Force to retreieve the M’Kraan Crystal, and so on… Cyclops learns his true origin (son of Havok and Polaris, and thus kind of Magneto’s grandson) and all that. At Earth, as Magneto’s death after Asteroid M explosion, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch become his successors as leaders of the Evil Mutant Brotherhood.

Spin-off: X-FACTOR.

Introduces Cable, Deadpool and the others part of the X-Factor. This should have some things related to the future, probably an Apocalyptic future in which Cable is created but he’s sent back to Earth.

MAIN SERIES

The “happy future” series continues with a new trilogy like:

**- THE “MESSIAH” SAGA. **Adaptation of Messiah Complex/War/Second Coming, basically a crossover between X-Men, X-Force and some X-Men from other alternate futures (Cable vs Bishop, who tries to kill the Messiah girl). Might end up saying goodbye to Patrick Stewart, who might go to space to hook up with Lilandra from the Shi’Ar.
- SCHISM. Basically the “Civil War” movie of X-Men, with two bands led by Wolverine and Cyclops.
- ONSLAUGHT. Or something like that. Who knows, maybe Magneto is revived and rejuved by Mr. Sinister (as Fassbender) or something, and he becomes Onslaught or something, just to have a giant villain to end the whole series.

I wish they introduce other X-Men subteams, like X-Calibur (European mutants), Colossus, Nightcrawler and Psylocke could be part of that group, either for a spinoff, or like a subteam featured in other movies.

That wraps pretty much all the most of the famous stories, only a couple things like Legacy Virus would be out and such.
On the real life, I’m sure they will go to make a “true Phoenix Saga” movie, specially if they want to expand their XCU to the whole galaxy just like Marvel, I only hope they give the things some time to breath and begin introducing space concepts little by little so it doesn’t feel too forced.

They will most likely leave some things out, like the Mojoverse, even when I’d like to see Spiral

Genosha would be a really cool storyline to adapt, they could give more insight in Magneto’s family with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and we have never seen what would be if Mutants could rule themselves, that could open for some real cool themes to introduce in the series.

I hope they give Mr. Sinister and Savage Land a whole movie focused on them, first off, I love Savage Land with the dinosaurs, second, he’s a great villain and they could give Cyclops much more importance that way.

And finally, I’d really like them to start adapting more contemporary stories like Messiah War and Schism, so they can continue using the original X-Men cast, and to see some interaction between Cable and Cyclops, which would be sweet

And then, I just wonder how would Marvel Studios introduce mutants in their movies if they ever recover the rights…

  • Continue reboot?

  • Alternate universe?

  • To say they were always there?

  • Terrigen mists?

  • Sudden surge of mutants?

  • A reality warp? Scarlet Witch pronouncing “MORE MUTANTS”?

In other news, Ice-Man completely became Glacius in the last comic book:

XD

who ever did the typography for that should be shot. looks like a font a 5 yr old would pick…one step away from bubble letters.

possible Storms:

possible Jean Greys:

fuck posting the losers they be looking at for Cyclops.

Bet wolvie will be a pervy middle aged guy still

It wouldn’t make sense to change Wolverine. He’s been the same for like 100 years in the show’s timeline.

No, i want it to be pervy hugh jackman flirting with high school jean and ororo. Complete with his shirt off smoking a cigar.

It would be hilarious

And not too far from Ultimate Wolvie at that.

not feeling the jeans or ororo’s at all.

first chick could pull off mohawk ororo more than likely

She was in that shitty TV Aaliyah movie though.

yeah but Aaliyah was sexy as fuck, so thats ok

yo…i swear mr.sinister was creepier in the fox cartoon than he was in the comics. the whole savage land arc…too fucking good.

Yeah, the cartoon did a job on making him extra creepy. I guess that’s what they were going for.

He never seemed as impressive as Magneto,Apocalypse or even Sabertooth.

Wonder who are going to be the horsemen

Also i back keke palmer as storm

Sinister was a manipulative prick in the cartoon.

I would like Michael c Hall as sinister honestly

Him or spacey

Why does Sinister look like a vampire though?

It has to do with Chris Claremont’s original concept for Sinister.

He was the product of a childs imagination of what an intimidating villain would like.

all those years spent in Britain, the land the Sun forgot.
