X arcade single sticks worth it?

ive been looking into alot of different sticks

and x arcade catches my eye because its like the only one that i found to be ps2 and ps3 compatible

but am wondering about the quality of the buttons and stick

does anyone have an opinion on them?:wonder::wonder::wonder:

Stock parts are crap.

really

that suckssss

i flippin want a stick that will work at my house on ps3 with ps2 games and my homies house on ps2

i dont see why not one company can do that for me

and have a quality product

:crybaby:

i kinda feel like a whiner after typing that lol

Then buy an empty X-Arcade single stick, HAPP parts, and a PS1 Dual Shock PCB, then put it all together. All the info you need is in this forum.

OR

buy a decent retail stick like a Street Fighter Anniversary Collection stick or Hori Real Arcade Pro 1 or 2

yea i have been looking at that

to be honest im just a little worried about spending money and fudging things up

Just buy a PS2 compatible stick, and then buy a PS2 to PS3 converter.

well i havent really serched on this topic so i dont really kno

but i heard that they can lead to lag

is this myth or reality??

If you get the right ones, then no, they won’t lag. Just look out for the Pelican PS2 -> PS3 converter. Lagless and you can use it on your PC too.

Pelican PS2 -> PS3 adapter ftw.

get a blank xarcade

its a good starter

buy some parts for it

hack a pad

all the info you need is in the essential thread
its all there

well thanks much everyone

glad ppl on this forum are actually helpfull

the capcom bbs isnt really lol

yeah, if you would have asked this question 6 months to a year ago, you probably would have gotten a few pages worth of “X-ARCADE SUX!” But its good that someone here set you in the right direction without all that.
