Then buy an empty X-Arcade single stick, HAPP parts, and a PS1 Dual Shock PCB, then put it all together. All the info you need is in this forum.
OR
buy a decent retail stick like a Street Fighter Anniversary Collection stick or Hori Real Arcade Pro 1 or 2
yea i have been looking at that
to be honest im just a little worried about spending money and fudging things up
Just buy a PS2 compatible stick, and then buy a PS2 to PS3 converter.
well i havent really serched on this topic so i dont really kno
but i heard that they can lead to lag
is this myth or reality??

If you get the right ones, then no, they won’t lag. Just look out for the Pelican PS2 -> PS3 converter. Lagless and you can use it on your PC too.
Pelican PS2 -> PS3 adapter ftw.

yeah, if you would have asked this question 6 months to a year ago, you probably would have gotten a few pages worth of “X-ARCADE SUX!” But its good that someone here set you in the right direction without all that.
