Oh yeah, I’ve been meaning to ask you. Do you know a guy named Julio Fontanez? He’s an old friend, I know he was pretty hardcore into Magic. He was playing SF4 as well, that’s actually how I got back in touch with him, but it’s been a while. I have no idea what the Magic scene is like, but I thought there might be a chance.

I’m going to a Magic buddy’s housewarming party that day, so I can’t make it. Also, I probably won’t touch SSF4 until I get a PS3 so I can practice.
I see somebody posted from near Madison. I’m in Madison and am interested in playing with other people! I’m really up for any game, I mostly play HDR, Blazblue, and SSF4 now (and, well, not that well, but I’m working on it), though. So…Madison. Woo.

So, who all is going to the La Crosse tourney on the 24th? I’m just curious if I’m going to see some familiar faces there besides Munn3y (though I don’t think we ever formally met.)
I like the first one a lot more, as well. It does have that old school flair to it.
The tourney title doesn’t fit with the new flyer, but the new flyer looks way more professional and visually pleasing. I’d say stick with the new flyer as we’re trying to attract all-comers, not just regulars that will show up regardless.

Unfortunately I’m not near Madison quite yet, I’ll be up there early September. It’s a 3.5 hour drive (according to google maps) from where I’ll be to Milwaukee :/, but I’ll try to get there as much as I can for tourneys.
