Alright, cool. If you want something to go by, here is my track record from the past year and a half
1st place at 7 or 8 local tournaments in Chicago in HD Remix
2nd place at a Chicago bi-weekly with over 40 people in HD Remix
2nd place at Naptown clash in HD Remix
Top 12 at Midwest Championships in HD Remix
Won every money match I played at MWC in HD Remix
2nd place in Soul Calibur 4 and Tekken 5 DR at MWC.
Won a tournament to qualify for the HD Remix 5v5 at evo (but couldn’t attend due to last minute complications 
)
2nd place at 2 local Arcana Heart 2 tournaments
1st place at 2 scrub SF4 tournaments in Wisconsin
2nd place at a Chicago 2v2 team tournament for SF4.
5th place at Fight it Out 3 in SF4 singles (*single elim)
3rd place in KOF 12 at Fight it Out 3
2nd place in HD Remix at Fight it Out 3
Finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at 3 Tekken 6 tournaments I entered in 2009.
Won 2 small Melty Blood Actress Again tournaments. One in Wisconsin and one in Chicago.
1st place at a Tekken 6 tournament in NW Indiana
4th in SF4 teams at Frosty Faustings. Also got 2nd in teams and 5th in singles for Melty.
Placed placed top 3 at 3 Tekken tournaments in chicago, including 1 win.
2nd in HDR at Code of Honor, 5th in Super
Last few months have been slow though lol

Sorry about the double post. I’m working on some nice incentives for the next tourney. I’m going to wait until the one in August to do so. I think everyone will be really happy with what I have planned. Also, the flyer should be posted in the tourney thread here later today. Please feel free to print them out and litter the city with them. Post them up on abandoned houses,opium dens,crack houses,whore houses etc.

I really hope all this NamcoxCapcom stuff is just speculation. I just don’t see a fighting game between the 2 companies working out. You have one franchise that relys very heavily on projectile attacks and the other with no projectiles. How the hell would Law fight Ryu? I love Tekken and SF don’t get me wrong I just don’t see how this would work.
I’m hype tho for a possible update to Super the game overall seems pretty balanced tho so I don’t see what other changes they would make other than adding characters,stages,moves,etc.
So I’m a bit new to the community but figured I would at least post that I am here, playing when I can, and eager to get out on the scene. Unfortunately I go to school in the middle of nowhere in southwestern Wisconsin (Platteville). I can probably find myself traveling out to tournaments on weekends when I get the chance, but here’s a question, does anyone play in Madison? I think I remember hearing a little while back that there was a group of people on SRK who were interested in playing in Madison, but I dunno how well that went.
Jaron (jswey) and Tim (Bedfast Emporer) play/played 3S pretty hardcore back in the day, don’t know how much they play now.
I know there is a few players trying to start a scene in Madison. I have no idea where they meet or how frequently. Madison players post up!!!
