Yes. I keep telling everyone that the boards will go into production soon… but inevitably something gets delayed each time. Specifically, I want to make sure that all layouts can get made at the same time so I can save some shipping and benefit from the bulk part costs. I HOPE to start taking preorders this weekend/next week for them again with estimated delivery the third week of April.

Cool! There’s no problem for you shipping internationally? The UK, to be exact?

UK is good to go!

In preparation, does my UFB 20pin and 4pin(For the touchpad,l3,etc need to be soldered) and I assume the SoS will have a ribbon for the 4 pin?

I’m also new to lighting, which parts do you recommend for the Kaimana Khameleon? Pele? However I’m not quite sure of all the requirements to add lighting to panzer stick, so I’m a bit hesitant.

@VanIceL - Welcome to the forums!

So, in all honesty, wait to solder anything to your UFB. Everything you need to solder to it, comes with the kit. So, don’t waste your money

The SoS Kit comes with the 20P and the 4P header that get soldered in so that the Kaimana Khameleon fits down into place. The USB cable (not included) gets connected to the Kaimana Khameleon and then over to the USB pass through jack.

It also will start coming with the required JST connectors for the Turbo/L3/R3/TP connections, cables, and the second aux button area PCB.

The SoS has lights built in, for every single board. Simply plop your KK into place and connect the LED cable (included with the stick) between the KK and the Main board, voila, done.

From my site:

All HORI VLX EZ MOD Kits shipped out last night! I want to see installs!

I streamed an install of the Production board yesterday afternoon (PDT). You can watch it here in all of its glory. And by glory, I mean me rambling and installing this and the OBS-MX Buttons in my VLX.

Cheers everyone, I know many people in this thread want a new VLX panel and a lot of people may want to try one out first… here’s a good opportunity to do both at a HUGE savings.

Ordered the VLX EZ MOD! Have no issues soldering but for 40 AUD, it’s not worth getting the soldering iron out and chopping the JST connectors

Only problem is, I still don’t have the VLX and Brook UFB

The UFB is in transit, and the VLX (hayabusa) will be ordered sometime next month.

Nobody in Australia has the VLX so they have to be imported (have 2x OG ones, but I’m looking at eventually getting all 4 VLXs at some point)

I’m actually getting ready to pack it now so it gets shipped out in today’s Post. For the cost and the fact its 100% reversible, this mod system is 100% worth it in my opinion.

How easy would it be to trim the EZ Mod PCB to work just for the touch pad? I already have everything else working thanks to the Replacement Auxiliary Panel, but I’m not sure what to do with the touch pad ribbon cable.

Watch the Jasen install video, it’s covered.

Nice!

Wooo!! Although the order name was from my friend “Andrew” and 2x were ordered. Agree 100% about cost and reversibility hence ordering without the Brook UFB and the VLX - didn’t want to miss out on these

Quiet update…

Panzer Fight Stick 2.0 Pre Orders are OPEN with ALL WHITE options again! Ships beginning of May. http://bit.ly/1N2yWXe

Oh hells yes!!!
Regarding the build option/page & the 2.0 stick/pic to the left: I really like the clean minimal design of this one (with your 2.0 graphic in the bottom right corner). What specific setup is this one? I ask as I’d love to have the Kaimana Khameleon fitted with the hollow shaft hoku balltop and translucent buttons. Is this the setup shown in the pic to the left? If not are any pics available of the setup I’m after? I’m assuming the stick in the pic has the sandtex finish, so not wrap friendly?

I’m also kinda toying with the idea of a wrap but I’ve never used Photoshop in my life and have zero graphic design skills. Do you have any Taito Vewlix options in either blue or red?
I’d also like to order a DB25 to DB15 Cable at the same time. Do you also sell/make PS2, Dreamcast and original Xbox cables (can’t see these on the site)?
Finally do you expect payment in full upfront or a deposit? I’m cool either way, just nice to know these things.
Sorry about all the questions.

So, here’s the skinny on the JCC logo. They have all been removed from the cases for the ultra clean look. So, those don’t exist any longer. I have to take pictures of the new cases (once I get some) without graphics to reflect this. In the mean time you can see what they look like with a wrap. Just imagine no graphics instead

I don’t offer any stock artwork options for the PFS series, but @hibachifinal, @P3G3Designs, and @d3v take commissions and are familiar with the Panzer series.

I don’t make/offer the PS2/Dreamcast cables. Though, I think you can easily get them from ArcadeShock or Paradise Arcade Shop.

When you order, full payment is required. Splitting it and taking deposits doesn’t work really well and makes it a lot harder for me to track. If I had employees to help manage some of the “business” it would be easier, but as a one man show I try and make everything easy peasy.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Yeah the stick/pic above looks lush. What kind of finish is that? Is the central control/buttons area finish different to that of the outer surrounding areas finish (like the original 2.0 pic - hard to tell with that wrap/graphics)? Are those Kaimana Khameleon friendly translucent buttons?
Final question, honest. What shipping options do you offer to the UK and what are the costs?

Sticks that have artwork are Jet Black. Nice and smooth. The playfiled and the case will be all the same finish. Trying to manage different finishes for different parts is tough for a one man op  I did it on one to show the difference between the finishes pictorially.

The Translucent buttons are Kaimana Khameleon friendly. Clear/White are the best options since they show the colors through very nicely.

I offer USPS Priority to the UK. You can add a stick to your cart to get exact shipping costs, but typically I have seen about $75.

Scratch Sale has officially started! Get your deep discounted Hori VLX replacement panels at a fraction of the cost! Want a great one with art, I just added those back in to the shop as well!

Wow, nice.
VLX Aux Panels sold out, though?
