Incredibly cool idea, I am a total sucker for aesthetics but I may try this as well
Last reminders! Hopefully everyone received plenty of time to get their final orders in Once this run is done I can focus on the second and third panel options for the Panzer Fight Stick 2! Astro City / Hitbox layouts! Woo!
One PSA: I am discontinuing the Candy Cabinet Panels on my site until further notice. Whats left in stock is what will be available until further notice. There are a couple things driving this decision, but for now thatās whats going happening there. More to follow as it comes.
Please excuse the āKenā graphic. Going forward my ads/promos will feature Matilde exclusively

And you can still enter to win one here:
I also did @airs sound deadening mod on my stick, as well as added acoustic foam. The difference is very slight but overall I felt worth it. Vibrations from churning the stick donāt carry as much and any hollow sounds/any sound other than the actual actuation from the stick/buttons is removed.
The Hori VLX Aux Panel arrived and fits great! There will be a minor change to allow different 19mm buttons, but its going to be ready for order soon.
Good stuff! I have a VLX case ready and waiting for this, and the hit box panels.
Well, the Ultra Combo finish is done! Winners were drawn randomly tonight via Twitch. 1,515 entries total! 30 new PFS-OGs being made for folks. Hereās the video:
Decided to redo the mod and use a single piece. Installation is easier due to not nearly as many measurements and cutting. I also feel that it dampens vibrations a bit better. Added acoustic foam too. Pics:

@airs Where were you able to buy your foam at? Everyone Iāve looked sells them in a set of 12 or so. I couldnāt find anywhere that would sell me just one piece.
if I am right, itās intended as sound proofing for sound studios.
Some manufacturers if you ask will send you sample sized pieces, sometimes for free.
Ok, sorry for the delay. I have put it up for sale (downloading pictures now to use for the listing):
And because I felt it was time:
Hori VLX 1L6B Panel Pre-Orders
Hori VLX HitBox Panel Pre-Orders
** Thanks to those stalking my page and getting in orders before I even was able to post this or finish uploading pictures! **
I got two pieces from Amazon for $7.99 with Prime free shipping. Looks like the price has gone up since then - $10.99 with free shipping (but not Prime).
For those interested, the 1L8B Hori VLX Panels are available for Pre-Order again. I think I got 15 different messages/requests for them in the past day. Seemed like a no brainer. The community wants what the community wants!

Woot! Got a lot accomplished today, ready for prototyping and updating the PFS2!
When I added the additional 3 buttons for the Brook UFB I didnāt get the PCBs done right away. I wanted to think about it before I jumped feet first and got something made up. Below, you will see what I came up with. It looks just like the one PCB for HOME/START/SELECT but it lacks LEDs (the KK doesnāt have enough passthroughs to make it responsive anyways) and it has 3 sets of jumpers. This will let you pick and choose what each button is, every spot can be either L3/R3/Turbo/TouchPad. And for good measure I put the Turbo LED on there so you can see it flash via the plexi window on the bottom of the stick
Next up, I finally finished the System of System Board for the fun Curved Sega Layout. Not much special here other than the layout itself being different. The board functions the same was as the Vewlix layout.

Last, but not least. The Hori VLX Brook Adapter that I have been working on is getting the final prototype finished up so that ArcadeShock and I can start making them available for purchase. These will upgrade your VLX to a quad capable stick without any damage to the internal guts of the stick. Everything is plug and play. The plan is to have a kit available that requires NO soldering and one kit available that has all the parts required for the UFB for those that already have one. Options for everyone! No fancy pictures to show off for this yet since it really didnāt change much from the last iteration. Have a great weekend!
Iām a former custom stick builder here on SRK who hasnāt been around the scene for some years. I just wanted to pop in after looking at these and let you know that I love your design and style. These look really nice and people should be glad to have them. Nice work.
Would there be any option for a customer requesting a true Sega Astro layout? I know that Noir is pretty much identical to Sega Astro with the exception being that the joystick is further apart from the buttons. Some of us have grown very accustomed to this distance!
Actually, I am using the exact Astro layout. The noir ātrueā space between the joy and K1 is just a bit too far for the smaller panel in the 2.0.
I love that graphic I totally stole the first one for my FB page. I am happy to report that I should have the first prototype board (the hardest part to get right) for the Astro and Hitbox and new aux panels for the PFS2 by the end of the week. I am going to expedite assembly of them with my favorite solder person and, if they all work properly, get them manufactured / start taking preorders on them all by March 10.
