Drools :lovin:

I starting to think I need to build another stick…

Hit Box and Etokki do the same thing

Thanks for the kind words! The Jet Black is a nice and smooth powder coat and is is very nice. I haven’t held an Omni stick, but knowing what Laugh puts out, I’m sure its quality. The Hitbox finish is nice as well, just a sandtex feel. (I think Omni is the same).

I try to keep the stick simple. Having the compartment with a hinged door is doable, but it would cost so much money to implement the costs don’t out weigh the benefits. I have stuck to the removable cord setup because its much cheaper and easier to disconnect and store in your Fight Stick bag than implementing a costly mod to the stick making it unaffordable.

Thanks for the comments. Having a Hitbox in hand to compare to the Panzer, the finishes are nearly the same. The Panzer’s Sandtex finish (in white, graphite, black, carmine red, or gentian blue) is about the same feel as the Hitbox to my gruffed up hands.

It’s a pretty standard finish, but we get our cases from guys who make cabinets for slot machines and stuff. Good heavy duty built to last Vegas metal. Only difference is our metal isn’t designed to steal your money.

I’m not even sure what that’s supposed to mean, but thanks for your input.

The guy that asked for that layout emailed me and said I could make the 4 button version available to folks as a standard layout. He paid the additional shop setup fees associated with making it and was happy to do it so the community could have it available if they needed it. I thought it was mighty fine of him!

I think he’s making a comment about Vegas. The Geo stick is definitely drool worthy. With all I’m spending lately, it’ll have to wait, but I will revisit that layout at a later date.

Ha! Totally right… clearly, I get dumb at night. I need to quit working much earlier! It makes so much more sense now :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the comments on the NG stick. As I mentioned before I’m not an artist… just an engineer that can make things work. When a PFS comes out as nice as this the customer gets all of the credit for provding the art!

*PS. Are you coming over tomorrow night still? I should be home after 5 for sure. I get to pick up my laptop from the Apple Store at 4PM so its a forcing function to leave the Pentagon early

Yeah, I’ll be in DC for a medical appt, then swing by estarland to sell some stuff, I’ll be by around 17:30 or so.

Sounds good!

I figured if anyone wants to do the panzer stick but not utilize the (“neutrik”) EH Panel Mount.

Its the Switchcraft ECP Blank Cover for EH Panel Mount with 4-40 Screws

There also this for those who want to mount a DPDT switch in the EH Panel Mount.

Thanks Darksakul… I have the covers for the Neutrik Ports, just need to list them for sale on the site!

GET OUT OF MY HEAD CHARLES!!!

LOL

Just finished this bad boy up tonight. The MK30 is a great case/starting point for your SuperGun project. While it looks complicated, building these is like using electrical legos

Jason, agree to disagree on the crown buttons, I’ve been a fan for a while, but they’re not for everybody.

I tried Laugh’s personal Omni at EVO last year. It was a Fanta with Crown buttons. The buttons actually felt nice and unique, kind of clicky. I would definitely give them a try if I wasn’t already invested in other buttons.

Does anyone have one of the Panzers who can testify to how it plays? Thanks!

Just put an order in for one (ok, well my gf did for my birthday) this weekend. Once, I get it and put all the pieces together (so basically, 30 minutes after I get it) I can let you know.

…but…what do you mean by how it plays? It’s an arcade stick, it will play like an…arcade stick. The main draw for me was the fact this is a metal design that is powder coated. So it will be tough, heavy and have a durable finish to it. If you look at the design, all pieces should fit together well and it should be quite sturdy.

I picked up a wide body last week. It solid, heavy, a real piece of equipment, unlike the madcatz TE2, which feels light and brittle and toy-like in comparison. In terms of how it plays…that’s dependent on the parts you put inside.

Opinions:

-They look and feel nice even without artwork.

-I’m sure it varies from person to person, but I like the weight on my lap. It’s heavy enough to stay put even if you’re a violent player, but not so heavy as to bother you…unless you have like…pudding legs or something? However, you will get tired carrying it up a mountain(Puerto Rico) or long stairs if you’re in as bad a shape as I am.

-A little noisy as you tap the buttons because metal but people have posted solutions here in the SRK. Though I don’t mind the noise and haven’t gotten any complaints.

-They are tough. It would probably put someone in a coma if you hit them with a Panzer, so please manage your salt responsibly.

Bad phone camera, so I won’t be including any photos. To conclude, I love my panzer and I hope it works out for you future owners too.

Panzer: an arcade stick you can literally knock your foes unconscious with.
