Yes. 8 action button harness, 3 aux button harness, and a JLF harness.
last question i promise!
that picture is hard to see for me (on my phone). are those wrapped up in heatshrink/techflex stuff? is it the same as this?
Yes, all the harnesses are done the same way with Techflex and Heatshrink. The only difference is the color of said wraps.
A new thing from the labā¦
I added a DB15 port to the Panzer as a means to simply connect one to a SuperGun or NEO-GEO. The added benefit was you could ātri-modā the stick with some creative wiring. A few months ago I created the DB15 ribbon adapter that piggybacked onto the 20P connector present on the PS360+ to make this stupid simple. It used the standard DB15 connections that the NEO/SuperGuns use because that was what I envisioned the most common use of the DB15 would beā¦ until now.
I saw @JRDIBBS piggyback a Padhack/RPi combo on his PFS and his chief complaint was only getting to use 6 buttons. Another customer/friend @delti90 also thought having access to all of the main buttons would be good for external padhack devices in a project box making use of the DB15 port. I liken it to @FreedomGundamās ABS Stick with modular inserts, but less connections. So, I created a new one. It moves the GND to the shield of the connector and then repurposes the use of that pin for 4P and then connected the NC pin to 4K. Instead of SELECT, I used HOME as a connection since its more useful than the select key.
It still uses the common 20P connection and ribbon cable. Ill be adding these for sale in the fall as a different option for those who may not necessarily need a SuperGun controller but want a simple Padhack connector.
Introducing the Kaimana Khameleon by Jasenās Customs. Shout out to Paradise Arcade Shop for giving me the go ahead to add a little JCC flair to the OG Kaimana! There is a little more to it that just lights, but that will be released later
When will your store sell clone Jasens so I can have one in home to make me all these wonderful things?
If I (or some of the people I work with) could perfect that technologyā¦ Iād be getting A LOT more of my ideas into actual working prototypes!
When it rains new stuffā¦
New Prototype #2 for the Weekend. The MK1 MOD 0 - All In One SuperGun PCB. Pure RGB out with Audio over a single 8 Pin connector for the Framemeister/PVM/RGB Monitor Crowd. This isnāt a simple breakout board though! Video is amplified using some nice video opamps and adjusted with front facing pots, audio is attenuated down for Line Level use, and there are some fun things under the hood for expansion.
Iām not quite ready to release this for the massess with the upcoming move, deployment, etc. There are also a few minor layout tweaks that need to be made (clearance issues).
Will you be selling 8-PIN > Scart for EU customers too? If so, my interest is peaked.
Eventually. There is a couple ways I would want to do itā¦ getting some cables manufactured is one.
Hey sorry for the bump and I know this may be wayyy too early to ask, since youāre gonna open up again on September, wondering how much a prebuilt stick with your case, all wired up, is gonna cost with any buttons with:
-Six 30mm white clear buttons: Sanwa OBSC buttons, clear Seimitsu PS-14-K buttons with Sanwa SW-68 or Seimitsu PS-14-G buttons Sanwa RGs, preferably RGs if you have them by that time
-Five 24mm white clear buttons, any stock seimitsu buttons will do
-Hori Hayabusa joystick, hollow shaft with a hoku balltop
-PS360+ with RJ45 Neutrik, also with an RJ45 USB cable
-Kaimana LEDs setup and ready to go for all buttons and the joystick
-Custom layout for the stick sorta, pretty much 6 top buttons placed at the usual vewlix layout, the start, select, and home buttons on the right side of the case, and the last 2 buttons (P4 and K4) placed somewhere away from the other buttons and joystick on the top (preferable at the upper right part of the top). I want this because I really love the 6 button layout, but I also donāt want to sacrifice record and play buttons for training mode.
-Custom art for the front side, top, and back of the stick. The case I want will probably be black.
Iām asking now to know how much to save for this stick in the future and Iād prefer to know sooner than later. The estimate doesnāt have to be exact, but I still want a decent estimate. If youāre too busy to figure it out atm, I understand.
@sasquach - I would estimate about $250 for a custom case alone. Add the parts in and your around $400 in parts I think. Thats a very rough estimate though.
hey do you have an adapter for the older x-arcade stick to work with pc usb?
I donāt even know what the old X-arcade stick uses. Its not one of my products
You would be far better off gutting out the PCB from inside the X-arcade stick and swapping out with something more reliable.
For better or worse Iāve been changing out parts on my Panzer stick quit frequently of late and was thinking about replacing the stock screws with thumb screws and as such I was wondering what size I would need. Thanks.
Screws that hold the halves together are 6-32.
I am very excited about these Custom Sanwa Balltops. Just finalized the first set and have chosen to have www.ParadiseArcadeShop.com be the exclusive reseller until I return this fall. Paradise is launching them on Saturday 3.28.2015 with their Dash Cancel Day. Everyone who buys one of these JCC Balltops will be entered to win a free MadCatz TE2 PS4 Stick, and when you purchase a military themed one we are donating $5 of the proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project to help my fellow brothers in the military out.
To make the deal even sweeterā¦ when you spend $100 you get FREE domestic shipping. Thatās usually a $15 savings or 15% off your order.
Congrats on a huge shout-out from Nathan Barnatt (jump to 3:20)!
