The buttons in the steggy video were probably knocked out during shipping. Once the Sanwa buttons are seated correctly in the faceplate, they’re not going anywhere in normal use.
Thanks for the great description of the stick. Hope you’re enjoying your new Eightarc!
Just opened my replacement unit and it’s so sexy and eligant my new hotness works 100% plays like a dream nice and smooth. Thanks Eightarc VC
** Purple****! **oh and thanks for the gamespot giveaways! even though i dont think i won, its nice of you guys to do them. Even if i did won i would probably give it to my brother since a purple ISO stick is the one im really looking forward to;)
Any good pics of the inside of the 360 Onyx/Pearl stick?
WHITE PEARL STYLED FUSION. Not a big fan of the Fusion style, dont’ like the buttons on top of it. Not ugly just when compared to the pearl, it’s not as cool.
Great call!
I took a bunch of the insides of the ISO PS3 Ebony, if there is a specific question someone has concerning something I missed in terms of photos, say so here. I’ll be attempting a dual mod on this stick, as I simply love the case. Good stuff eightarc!
General shots of the outside of the case in comparison to a TE and SE. Just a tad larger than a TE case (which as a person with catcher’s gloves as hands, I totally am in favor of)
(edit: last image clearly has the reflection of a lamp on the right side of the eightarc, sorry about that!)
Man that thing looks nice and spacious inside. Lots of room for various mods.
I know you guys are getting bombarded with a lot of “is there going to be X stick with X feature made available?”. I already made this point but i really think you guys should make the 360 ISO and Fusion available in pearl before focusing on other colors. It just seems like the consistent thing to do.
For example i want a pearl ISO but i want a 360 stick so i can just dual mod with ChImp SMD to save doing any real work. It’s just so much easier to dual mod a stock 360 stick with PS3 functionality than the other way around.
Also the fusion i ordered for my friend should be here tomorrow or monday! Can’t wait to get my hands on this thing.
Also, I believe it was mentioned somewhere else, but including a microfiber cloth to clean the stick after use and 2 Sanwa button plugs is simply classy.
The presentation is top notch.
I would have liked your review, except that you keep calling an arcade stick, a fightstick. People use these for shooters and arcade style games and MAME too.
I rue the day that somebody at Madcatz decided to brand their arcade sticks, “fightsticks”. And then the community decided to apply that term to anything thing made with an arcade joystick and 6-8 buttons in it.
One thing I noted is that the buttons don’t seem to be marked on the PCB. If you switch all the buttons at once it seems like it’d be hard to get them all correct.
Thanks for the images, but would like to see the PS3 pearl since it has no cable on the inside so I would assume there is more room in there…
I’ll keep that in mind.
Also, just out of sheer curiosity, what does the Mode button do?
Hi Ragnorok64, adding internal pics of all models is on my to-do list.
See above.
It’s hard to see in the pictures above, but all of the button pins are labeled in white text on the PCB. Also, the pairs of button connectors have been tidied up with cable management so even if you remove all the buttons, the wires don’t go anywhere and makes it easy to hook everything back up.
Thanks for all of the feedback on future colors/designs. Let’s not forget that we have been open for business for a grand total of 5 week so far
All of the feedback will be taken into consideration for future models. Please vote on our facebook page in our polls for future joysticks. Right now we have a poll up for joystick bottom materials, but will soon post additional polls in other categories.

Thanks for being so responsive. I just want to order it so i can get at it… I had no idea you guys have been around for only 5 weeks!!! amazing! good job guys…
I own a Q4RAF and am very sensitive to input delay, and can confirm that the Q4 has less input delay than standard TEs. It feels about as lagless as sticks can get (same as my VXSA) - that is, no additional lag due to the PCB.
I’m not sure, but my hunch is that this has something to do with the Q4RAF (and also the Eightarc Ebony Fusion) dual PCB being switch-based and not CPU-based like other dual mods I’ve felt minor lag on.
all you had to do was ask bro…
There is TONS of room for all kinds of modding goodness…
PCB is common ground so modding should be easy

and here it is with my butteroj pearl balltop!!

The Pearl/Onyx looks like it’ll be lovely to mod. I wonder how hard it’ll be to have someone make a little metal plate to swap the USB connector for a Neutrik RJ-45. Would I have to go to a machine shop?
Also, anyone have the measurements of that plate.
Oh man that just makes me want a pearl ISO for the 360 even more! That thing is just begging to be modded.
Also that pearl balltop is the sickness ed. I’m jealous.
