Www.eightarc.com premium tournament joystick thread

I love the stick but I’d also like to change the art. I have the plexi but I don’t really know how to strip the original art without damaging it or the tabs that go over the screw holes.

I’d also like to find out how to get the same glossy metallic print that the stock art has.

Wish I knew about you guys two months ago. I just bought a HORI RAP but I would have gotten the fusion instead. Oh well, some day I will buy one!
P.S. Big pat on the back to the designer of the packaging. That box is sex as hell!

Hey there Eightarc, I was just about to buy a Madcatz SFxT stick and I’m seriously really glad I somehow chanced upon a link to your site and now I’m thinking about ordering a Fusion either tomorrow or Friday. These sticks are just too nice!
One question about the shipping: how long would it take to get to Las Vegas? If I had known about your sticks earlier, I would have done a local pickup since I was in the Bay Area a week ago.

I would LOOOOVE the pearl, any chance to get getting Fusion setup with a pearl finish (with the fusion price of course)? I could do it myself but it would be a shame to mess with the artistry of the stick you guys have.

Im getting one of these in a few weeks. I want a GiantSword too though =/

Thanks for the review Steggy.

Wade, we sell replacement clear plexis’s for either $9.99 or $12.99 on our site. With such as low price, IMO it’s not worth the effort to get chemicals to strip the original printed/bonded faceplate.

The glossy metallic paint is a special silver mix that our manufacturer provides. I would check out your local hobby store (radio control cars, planes, etc.) and they should have something similar.

Get two of each

If there is enough demand we will definitely consider this.

Shipping to Las Vegas is quick. UPS ground will delivery it in 2-3 days.

Thanks for the props on the box design!

I’m considering purchasing one of the Eightarc Multi-Console sticks (or a Q4 VLX Pro). If I do end up purchasing one, this will be my FIRST ever FightStick. I like the design, and the reviews are generally positive. However, keep in mind, I’ve never used a FightStick, and I’m contemplating purchasing a KeyStick, for the sheer fact that it will be probably less foreign to me (since I’m a PC game player and a Pad FG player), but regardless of my decision both Sticks will be foreign to me. Any advice on securing my decision would help, if you can PM me or offer suggestions. Thanks.

My only gripe with this stick is, I don’t like the Eightarc logo underneath the joystick, and will I be able to add custom art if I choose?

Also, I don’t like the way Fusion is designed, I dislike the ‘Start, Home, Select’ buttons on the main area of the stick, I’d much prefer it for them to be on the side, like the Onyx, and have black buttons instead of white.

Hey Eightarc, thanks for the reply, and just putting this out there, but could you also please do the Fusion in Pearl?
I’d buy that in a second!

Fair enough. Is it easily moddable? I would love that Pearl stick but want the ability of using it on a ps3 and xbox360. I don’t want to really wait for it… =P

Just got a random package in the mail!

Thank you SO much for letting SRK users know about the Gamespot giveaway. I scored a ISO PS3 Ebony for a quick email.

First impressions are very nice. Just as solid (and possibly more so) than a TE. Kind of a short USB cord, but not a massive issue. The felt bottom is a VERY smart idea, and I expect it to be a standard in the near future. Very nice looking product visually though, and functionally the Sanwa parts speak for themselves (though I am a Seimitsu guy).

If anyone has modded one of these with a PS360 or to somehow gain Xbox support and has info on it, please lemme know. Otherwise I’ll open her up and see what I can do about it.

Tested and works just fine on my PC.

Will do a picture gallery once the wife gets home, as she has the digital SLR with her.

Thanks again eightarc!

Just received my 360 onyx.
So godlike!
None of the pictures can capture its true quality. You just have to see it in person.
Buy one soon before they run out!
Thanks again eightarc!

I’ve been looking into your sticks for a while. But I can’t decide between the PS3 Onyx or the Fusion. Any chance you could release a Fusion for the Onyx &/or the Pearl?

Hey there Eightarc!
I just ordered my Fusion a few minutes ago, I can’t wait until it gets here.
How long do you guys usually take to ship out orders? Hopefully it gets here (Las Vegas) by the weekend.
Does it also come with tracking, by any chance?

Thanks, I’ll do a video review once I get it

Also, I would wait until you guys had a Pearl version of the Fusion but it’s all good, these sticks look too nice to pass up.

Hi Neoxon, thanks for the interest. We will take this into consideration if there is enough demand. Right now, I would recommend the ISO PS3 Onyx. It looks extra shiny today

Hi Magnetix, thanks for the purchase! We just responded to your private message. We should able to ship this tomorrow. Looking forward to your video review.

Hey there Eightarc, thanks for the PM response, just please disregard that question I put in the response PM about the processing time - didn’t read the thread before replying to your PM.

Thanks again!

Congrats on the winning one of the five joysticks! For everyone else who didn’t win, don’t worry, we’re working with GameSpot to do more giveaways. Check out our twitter and facebook pages for the latest news.

So I’m really considering grabbing a Fusion. Only thing that worries me is the loose/popped out button issue mentioned in one of the Youtube reviews. I also remember reading about the Qanbas having a similar problem from time to time. Are you guys finding this to be a widespread issue? I don’t mind opening it up to make the necessary fixes as time goes on, but I don’t want to have to do it when the product is fresh out of the box.

I’ve only had mine for a night, but I’d vouch for the quality on the parts. The buttons are snap in Sanwa. I played AE online tonight for a few hours using this stick to try and get a feel for it, and it performed just fine.

Seems about as solid as a TE, with a better overall aesthetic IMO. If I am in the market for another stick in the near future, I’ll consider another one of these for sure.
